I know I was up too early when I read your comment and kept trying to figure out why you tacked an "M" onto the end of Delicate Sound Of Thunder. Then I remembered that _other_ Pink Floyd album. :D
What's somewhat amusing for me I finally got old technology a full tube head and it's so so so so so so so so much better than any solid state head I've owned.
But your comparing an old tube amp to a modern solid state. How does an old tube amp compare to a modern one. And they would have to cost around the same price at the time that they were originally sold to get a truthfully good idea of how modern amps compare to old ones.

In the first part where Frank is doing the demo, was it just amp and that pedal, or was there some overdrive separately involved? Was the Amp overdriven then? What was the signal chain then?

I find the first demonstrations quiet hilarious due to today’s mainstream music these days .
There’s actually a lot of weird effects in modern mainstream music, just not so obviously. Producers are constantly looking for new sounds to keep our ears interested

yeah great pedal, and its not another overpriced shitty preamp like the one he mentioned in the beginning of the video but am not paying 350$ for a reverb pedal
