The thing is that crown zenith is just not undervalued, even though the cards are so sick and the set is iconic, the set itself has been heavily overprinted and continues to get product released for it even today
A lot of streamers hype crown zenith for the art which increased the demand, which unfortunately led to reprints. I think it will take more than a year from now for us to stop seeing crown zenith in stores. Then the value will start to go up. But etbs are still under $50 in stores, and under $40 on tiktok shops
I think the most important thing as a collector under a budget is to choose their favorite art. I value a lot cards like the Mew from Crown Zenith because there are multiple Pokemon in the same card. Also I appreciate the cards that combine in a same art, because they look cool in the binder.
I think most people would agree with the fact the the kanto starters art rares from stellar crown and the charmander promo from obsidian flames are hands down way better than the illustration rare starters from 151.
Squirtle from SC is just ok. Bulba from SC is amazing. Charmander promo from OF is amazing. But these starters in 151 are amazing arts, so its just very subjective. I understand if you have been overexposed to the cards though.
I would agree with this, cuz I think the OF Charmander & SC Squirtle tell a better STORY than the 151 starters. The 151 starter art, is just them living in the wild. The others have some character & depth to their art
The topic of the video is so relatable for me currently! I've been picking up cards for $1-5 bucks when I love the art. I love a good bargain and I can't lose. If the card never rises I still have a card I enjoy looking at and if appreciates I got it for practically nothing. A Mew I picked up 11 years ago for $3 is worth about $230 today and I picked it up just because I loved the look
Milotic and Feebas in the new set should set a precedent. GameFreak needs to do more illustration rares that tell a story spanning multiple cards. I would like to see an evolution set for Gloom or Lumineon showing a scene when the cards are combined with same amazing art style.
The mienshao art rare from Paradox rift is so beautiful and was hoping it was on the list, so underrated. However, my favourite card at the moment for around 10 dollars is the slowpoke art rare from scarlet violet base set, it is my favourite pokemon and the art is so stunning i had to immediately get it when i first saw it
Great video man. As someone who’s only literally got back into the hobby in the last month after only collecting vintage toys - these videos are a great heads up for the “dont’s” in particular. So easy to get overwhelmed and not know where to start but I’ve comfortably settled on the fact (after watching a plethora of your vids) that collecting the pokemon TCG is really up to the individual, and so I’m just going to be collecting based on feel, and what brings joy.
I've seen your opinions on the upcoming surging sparks set but I think it may be just a little overhyped. The selection of certain dragon type pokemons make some of the rarer cards less saught after, which i think will stop the set from booming like many think it will. I'll admit, the pikachu, latias, milotic, and hydreigon cards are extremely beautiful, but if the pokemon company chose more recognizable and loved dragon types (such as rayquaza, the sinnoh legendaries, and fan favourites like dragonite which hasn't even gotten an art rare yet) it would have made the set explode in popularity, maybe even matching sets like evolving skies. I think it would be a decent set, maybe similar to paldea evolved, just not as crazy as everyone says it will be. (but thats just my opinion)

I just got back into collecting the beginning of September. I tried in 2017 but just got overwhelmed. I knew nothing about the 151 set. I bought a poster book on a whim and pulled the SIR Charizard. It brought me back to pulling the original Charizard 25 years ago.
Love the Machoke from 151. Not only is it fascinating to watch Pokemon in every day work interacting with humans, it's also a fun perspective and art in itself with the miniature home like a doll house.
Something about the Raboot IR just looks so perfect to me. The contrast between a fire type and the snow plus the playful nature of the card makes me love it
I love the mew galarian gallery card! I think it really highlights mew's personality as an adorable and playful creature loved by all pokemon. I feel like the card is super undervalued and wish more cards were like this! I love these videos that showcase underrated cards.
Blown away by the professionalism in this video, I'm new here & am excited for more. I'm with you - there are some insanely good looking cards for so dang cheap, especially that tatsugiri. I think that one in particular is a good one to target, Magikarp cards, especially old ones, have been steadily rising, and Tatsugiri has the same combo of cute, derpy, and cool art that I think sells well as sets age. Its not the exact same as Magikarp (mostly because nostalgia always wins), but its hitting similar notes.
This video perfectly highlights the dichotomy of modern Pokémon card collecting: You want cards that others desire, and you crave the thrill that goes along with pulling a rare card which you can then brag about online, but you also resent how this desire for certain rare cards inflates prices and skews general perceptions of cards whose artwork you may, or may not, enjoy. Each card listed here is (arguably) beautiful, and would perhaps be highly sought after in another era, yet none of them have ‘taken off’ and, therefore, so many collectors overlook them. I’m not proud of myself but, whilst watching the video, I was conflicted between wanting these cards because they were beautiful and artistically ‘valuable’, whilst also dismissing them because they weren’t financially ‘valuable.’ Everyone will have a different perception of value and worth when it comes to collecting, whether it’s chasing profit or artwork, but I appreciate that this video at least tries to take a slower and more considered approach to Pokemon cards and introduces some artwork you might not be familiar with (I’d never seen that Gloom and I WANT it) whilst being aware that some of these cards are likely to rise in value.
It is wonderful that in the new sets there are those illustration rare cards that are gorgeous most of the times. This makes collecting beautiful cards an hobby not only for people who have a great capital to use but also for people like me that can afford a buy once in a while. There are cards like the illustration rare blitzle, the ninetales and the lumineon V that for me are easily in top 20 arts of all time (ignoring nostalgia) and they are barely less than 10 euros. I love this
LOVE that Tatsugiri Infernape and Machoke, picked up the JP ones soon after they were out, and for dirt cheap. The Fezandipiti from Shrouded feels iconic too. You can tell in the long run which cards will probably climb. Especially lesser versions of pokemon that have chase cards from the same set tend to increase. ... Cards from the newer gens will have their moments over the next few years as bitter millenials have kids and finally find space in their hearts for newer mons.
feel like gloom should be much higher just because of the art, i luckily got one myself from 1 pack and will definetly never sell it since its just so beautifull! Also i think most of the chase cards from 151 will go up in a few years since it brought so many people back to pokemon.
The Diderot effect is so real! The release of the Pikachu Van Gogh got me back into the hobby. Then came 151 and I’ve been hooked since. Scarlet and Violet are the first games I’ve played since I was a child and I’m looking forward to the potential release of the new game next year.
I think that the Tatsugiri card will be a pretty cool card to have; even though I'm not a fan of the pokemon, the artwork seems to really take a lot from Keith Haring art and it's a very unique piece in a collection. Maybe it's just a personal bias as I live near one of Haring murals, but I'm convinced we'll see a rise in this card's value. the gloom. the colors just pop out in a nice warm hippy vibe lol. the art it self appeals to anyone who can appreciate art. the direction of the illustrations remind me of comic book covers.
As I'm super new to the world of Pokemon TCG collecting, I got actually 2 questions. Here's the other one : - How should I care for my cards? Should I put them in a binder? Do all cards should get the "upside down sleeve + Top loader" treatment, any type of binder should I go for? Thank youuu!
Just getting back into the hobby and you've already got me spending money on several of these cards haha. Love the selection in the vid but my all time favorite is the galarian moltres promo from crown zenith, I think you can get it for around $6, in japanese its gorgeous as well.
The gloom, lumineon, and tatsugiri are my favorites on the list. I just got back into Pokemon cards again now that I’m done with school and have more disposable income! I had no idea that these IR and SIR cards existed. It almost feels like collecting artwork. I can’t believe there are this many cool cards out there for so cheap. I guess that’s for our gain!
That Crown Zenith mew is soooo amazing. During the video, you talked about the abundance of Crown Zenith stock at retail stores, which I understand is a driving factor in why Crown Zenith products are not nearly as high in price as 151 despite having better pull rates but also lacking the nostalgic Kanto vibes. With that in mind, I find what they are doing with Crown Zenith and 151 lately very interesting, for example, the Costco bundles that had the ETBs at the same prices despite the $10, now $20, difference between the two products. Notably the new 151 premium collection next February is very similar to the Sam's Club Crown Zenith box. What is interesting to me is how there seems to be a much shorter time lag between when Pokemon released additional Crown Zenith products versus 151. I assume it is based on the success of the set, but from what I understand, Crown Zenith was very successful at the time. I am mostly interested because many have hypothesized that the February release will be the last of 151 from Pokemon officially, but they are still pumping out new Crown Zenith products.
Personally i think that 151 has been one of the smartest releases that pokemon have set out over the past few year as it scattered towards people getting back into the hobby. Their use of the original 151 pokemon has stirred up some vital nostalgia which has further developed their audience of collectors and in my opinion, their unique twist on the chase cards to put the pokemon in a natural setting was a risky but worth while move. Ultimatley I believe that in the long term the 151 collection will grow due to their unique artwork and fan favourite pokemon.
I feel it’s great when there are cards later released to pair with earlier released cards. For example the Charmander promo, then stellar crown releases bulbasaur and squirtle both also with pidgeys featured in the art. I feel if they keep things like this going it’ll help the hobby and give more drive for collectors!
I’m so happy that a good amount of Illustration Rares are actually really affordable. It just gives collectors on a budget a chance to acquire some absolutely gorgeous cards.

The Machoke or Machokes 151 is hugely underrated. Got one graded as a psa10 and I couldn’t believe the low pop. Even though it’s currently not expensive it’s one I love looking at.
Hey man, just getting in pokeinvesting and your channel is a great help. Been binging your videos all day! Milotic is my favourite mon too. What makes you like it so much? For me gen 3 were the first games I played and I was never able te find Feebas (as a kid I wasn’t smart enough to use the internet). Because Milotic looks so cool and seemed so rare to me, it became the best Pokemon in my mind. It just stayed that way for the last 20 years!
Great content as always and an excellent example for having fun in the hobby with low budget. If you see something in a card that attracts you, it will also attract people in future. 2 examples. Iron Jugulis from Paradox Rift had some magic in it and Hoothoot from Astral Radiance brings a certain peace with it. What are your examples of cards that creat emotions?
I love the gloom card in OBF and agree with what you said about it. It’s a gorgeous bright card and looks fantastic. The graded version of the card are pretty high for it though which tells me that it’s undervalued in the RAW form.
Yeh since im australian, i think its better to buy a single under 10$ rather than two booster packs, statistically speaking more easy to make value with buying singles cuz booster packs dont give guranteed hits. (But that is just me)
I love buying promo cards, theyre usually cheap, look amazing and often have some sick art, the recent kingdra ex and greninja ex promos blew me out of the water
I loved the Infernape card, but I had no idea how beautiful it was when I looked at a close-up picture. For some reason when I first saw it, it looked like it was him in a fireball type pose when actually it was his whole body, and the fire was from his hair I think lol. Great list for sure.

The gloom along with the infernape are incredible looking cards (giving the edge to gloom) and are 2 iconic Pokemon. The coloring aspect make them both stand out amongst a lot of other IR in my opinion
The Tatsugiri was one of the first cards i have ever pulled myself and i was so confused by what i had pulled out of that booster. It didnt look like a Pokemoncard to me as it was so different. I love it and i also share your love to fishpokemon. Im trying to get a binder full of these fellas and am happy to say that i have 2 Tatsugiri already haha :D
Ever since I started to focus my collection on a specific idea, I have had SO much more fun collecting. The value doesn't matter to me as much as it used to.
So many of the best artworks are middle stage evolutions! The raboot and gloom are perfect examples. Too bad they get overshadowed a lot by final evolutions...
Great topic. As a mum who likes to collect Pokémon with her kids we often pick up the well priced singles. We will open a couple of packs of a new set for fun but then purchase their favourite cheap cards (makes their pocket money go further). It’s great to see quite a few of our cards in your list and some we’ve had our eye on. My favourite is Lumineon. 🇦🇺
I am really enjoying your content. My son, 12 years old, has recently discovered Pokemon collecting. Your videos have helped prep him for how he thinks about his hobby, and has really steered him clear of the major concern I had as a parent, chasing that dopamine hit with pack cracking. You have highlighted the need for balance between collecting, gambling with pack cracking, research. What are some strategies you other parents are using to ensure your kids have some fun opening packs but don't get sucked into constantly chasing that high? For me, I am encouraging him to consider saving some of his allowance for packs to open (because it is fun after all), some for a sealed product purchase to save as an investment, and some for card shows where he might be able to buy that chase card he's after. Anyway, keep up the great content Phillip! Love what you're doing here.

He just saw these at our LGS and the first thing he thought of was getting his old Pokemon costume out of the attic and wearing it to give away candy. He wanted to hold these in reserve for any Pokemon costumed kids who show up at our house this year. Might grab an extra box of them for him as a treat at the end of the night.

I love collecting cheap cards since I tend to go for artwork over pricing and so many great arts for this generation are so easy to access. I do think value is added with pricing but I also just enjoy the accessibility of these cheaper ones. These listed here are so amazing, and some other cards too are so great considering the pricing like Mantyke and joltik from paradox rift and grotle and mudsdale from Temporal forces. This generation has been amazing for me at least and I hope it's the same for everyone else.
Videos like this is great! We all want cool cards, but the "best" cards are always so expensive. The cards in this video is actually affordable, and yet so awesome 🤩 I have pulled multiple of these cards, and I thought they were really cool looking !

Oh also - for people who like cracking packs, that Shrouded fable Kingdra/Greninja is insane value to be opening. You usually lose, but its close to break-even on the whole box. There's some decent eBay sellers selling both boxes together for less than 60 and I think they're good sealed stashes and good to crack (specifically because there are a lot of competitive cards in the set)
I’m just getting back into Pokémon collecting since my childhood and the first card I decided to add was the Hydrapple EX Full art, cause I absolutely love him since the moment he was released. As a mainly sports card collector it is so interesting to see how the Pokémon card value market works compared to the sports world. I was wondering what people who see this think the best VALUE set is to be opening at the moment?
Paldea Evolved is SO undervalued. It's starting to be noticed, but there are heals and heaps of great IRs and SIRs in that set I'm suprised it doesn't do better
You can really find some nice and amazing pieces in the low priceranges, lots of alt arts and illustration arts, or generally cards that give the imersion a big OOMF! Gotta love the cards that makes it feel like you are part og the pokemon world.
The Arceus UPC features 2 metal cards. His V and Vstar. It was a Gamestop exclusive in the US. I opened one with my son and kept one sealed as many people, including kids love Arceus and I see it doing well long term
I think the palafin ar from obsidian flames should also be included on this list. One of the sickest arts to date with colours popping everywhere. For 1.70 cad you really can’t go wrong, such a cheap beast of a binder card. The art is even perfectly symmetrical, it’s so appealing to look at! Can’t go wrong with picking up this card
Man, that Kingdra promo (as well as the Greninja promo) are the only thing that I purchased from Shrouded Fail. The Kingdra artwork in particular just makes me think this card is going to go up in value in a few years time. Also, I didn’t even know that Gloom card existed - incredible artwork! I’ve only recently started collecting again, and as much as I love the rush of pulling a chase card (Bubble Mew from Paldean Fates was my top chase, and I was lucky enough to pull it twice), I have started to get to that stage where I’m considering buying singles that it’s just not worth chasing.
The mew and Mewtwo from 151 UPC are also awesome promos under $10 right now. I just picked up three of each to hold onto because that UPC is getting so hard to find. I think all of those UPC promos will be a great value looking back

That Kingdra Promo is such an amazing card. I love all the shrouded fable promos, but that Kingdra is just the best.

It is wonderful that in the new sets there are those illustration rare cards that are gorgeous most of the times. This makes collecting beautiful cards an hobby not only for people who have a great capital to use but also for people like me that can afford a buy once in a while. There are cards like the illustration rare blitzle, the ninetales and the lumineon V that for me are easily in top 20 arts of all time (ignoring nostalgia) and they are barely less than 10 euros. I love this
LOVE that Tatsugiri Infernape and Machoke, picked up the JP ones soon after they were out, and for dirt cheap. The Fezandipiti from Shrouded feels iconic too. You can tell in the long run which cards will probably climb. Especially lesser versions of pokemon that have chase cards from the same set tend to increase. ... Cards from the newer gens will have their moments over the next few years as bitter millenials have kids and finally find space in their hearts for newer mons.
feel like gloom should be much higher just because of the art, i luckily got one myself from 1 pack and will definetly never sell it since its just so beautifull!
Also i think most of the chase cards from 151 will go up in a few years since it brought so many people back to pokemon.
The Diderot effect is so real! The release of the Pikachu Van Gogh got me back into the hobby. Then came 151 and I’ve been hooked since. Scarlet and Violet are the first games I’ve played since I was a child and I’m looking forward to the potential release of the new game next year.
I think that the Tatsugiri card will be a pretty cool card to have; even though I'm not a fan of the pokemon, the artwork seems to really take a lot from Keith Haring art and it's a very unique piece in a collection. Maybe it's just a personal bias as I live near one of Haring murals, but I'm convinced we'll see a rise in this card's value.

the gloom. the colors just pop out in a nice warm hippy vibe lol. the art it self appeals to anyone who can appreciate art. the direction of the illustrations remind me of comic book covers.

Just getting back into the hobby and you've already got me spending money on several of these cards haha. Love the selection in the vid but my all time favorite is the galarian moltres promo from crown zenith, I think you can get it for around $6, in japanese its gorgeous as well.

The gloom, lumineon, and tatsugiri are my favorites on the list. I just got back into Pokemon cards again now that I’m done with school and have more disposable income! I had no idea that these IR and SIR cards existed. It almost feels like collecting artwork. I can’t believe there are this many cool cards out there for so cheap. I guess that’s for our gain!

That Crown Zenith mew is soooo amazing. During the video, you talked about the abundance of Crown Zenith stock at retail stores, which I understand is a driving factor in why Crown Zenith products are not nearly as high in price as 151 despite having better pull rates but also lacking the nostalgic Kanto vibes. With that in mind, I find what they are doing with Crown Zenith and 151 lately very interesting, for example, the Costco bundles that had the ETBs at the same prices despite the $10, now $20, difference between the two products. Notably the new 151 premium collection next February is very similar to the Sam's Club Crown Zenith box. What is interesting to me is how there seems to be a much shorter time lag between when Pokemon released additional Crown Zenith products versus 151. I assume it is based on the success of the set, but from what I understand, Crown Zenith was very successful at the time. I am mostly interested because many have hypothesized that the February release will be the last of 151 from Pokemon officially, but they are still pumping out new Crown Zenith products.
Personally i think that 151 has been one of the smartest releases that pokemon have set out over the past few year as it scattered towards people getting back into the hobby. Their use of the original 151 pokemon has stirred up some vital nostalgia which has further developed their audience of collectors and in my opinion, their unique twist on the chase cards to put the pokemon in a natural setting was a risky but worth while move. Ultimatley I believe that in the long term the 151 collection will grow due to their unique artwork and fan favourite pokemon.
I feel it’s great when there are cards later released to pair with earlier released cards. For example the Charmander promo, then stellar crown releases bulbasaur and squirtle both also with pidgeys featured in the art. I feel if they keep things like this going it’ll help the hobby and give more drive for collectors!
My Daughter loves that metal Mew card, I picked one up for her as a birthday present in a PSA 10, got it at a great price too.

The Machoke or Machokes 151 is hugely underrated. Got one graded as a psa10 and I couldn’t believe the low pop. Even though it’s currently not expensive it’s one I love looking at.

For me gen 3 were the first games I played and I was never able te find Feebas (as a kid I wasn’t smart enough to use the internet). Because Milotic looks so cool and seemed so rare to me, it became the best Pokemon in my mind. It just stayed that way for the last 20 years!

I love the gloom card in OBF and agree with what you said about it. It’s a gorgeous bright card and looks fantastic. The graded version of the card are pretty high for it though which tells me that it’s undervalued in the RAW form.
Pulled the raboot the other day too and was shocked to see the price as well. Artwork is magnificent!
Yeh since im australian, i think its better to buy a single under 10$ rather than two booster packs, statistically speaking more easy to make value with buying singles cuz booster packs dont give guranteed hits. (But that is just me)

I loved the Infernape card, but I had no idea how beautiful it was when I looked at a close-up picture. For some reason when I first saw it, it looked like it was him in a fireball type pose when actually it was his whole body, and the fire was from his hair I think lol. Great list for sure.

Machoke from the 151 set and Gloom from Obsidian Flames are such stand-out cards! 💪🌿 Machoke’s classic design in 151 is pure nostalgia, and Gloom’s look in Obsidian Flames is so unique. How do you think they will compare to the old and new releases?

Water pokemon art works are among the best imo
The gloom along with the infernape are incredible looking cards (giving the edge to gloom) and are 2 iconic Pokemon. The coloring aspect make them both stand out amongst a lot of other IR in my opinion
The Tatsugiri was one of the first cards i have ever pulled myself and i was so confused by what i had pulled out of that booster. It didnt look like a Pokemoncard to me as it was so different. I love it and i also share your love to fishpokemon. Im trying to get a binder full of these fellas and am happy to say that i have 2 Tatsugiri already haha :D

So many of the best artworks are middle stage evolutions! The raboot and gloom are perfect examples. Too bad they get overshadowed a lot by final evolutions...
Great topic. As a mum who likes to collect Pokémon with her kids we often pick up the well priced singles. We will open a couple of packs of a new set for fun but then purchase their favourite cheap cards (makes their pocket money go further). It’s great to see quite a few of our cards in your list and some we’ve had our eye on. My favourite is Lumineon. 🇦🇺
I am really enjoying your content. My son, 12 years old, has recently discovered Pokemon collecting. Your videos have helped prep him for how he thinks about his hobby, and has really steered him clear of the major concern I had as a parent, chasing that dopamine hit with pack cracking. You have highlighted the need for balance between collecting, gambling with pack cracking, research. What are some strategies you other parents are using to ensure your kids have some fun opening packs but don't get sucked into constantly chasing that high? For me, I am encouraging him to consider saving some of his allowance for packs to open (because it is fun after all), some for a sealed product purchase to save as an investment, and some for card shows where he might be able to buy that chase card he's after. Anyway, keep up the great content Phillip! Love what you're doing here.
If you want him to open packs without spending loads you can also buy some trick or trade packs which are Halloween themed

He just saw these at our LGS and the first thing he thought of was getting his old Pokemon costume out of the attic and wearing it to give away candy. He wanted to hold these in reserve for any Pokemon costumed kids who show up at our house this year. Might grab an extra box of them for him as a treat at the end of the night.

Wow! Not going to lie I was expecting this list due to the nature of them being below $10 that the artwork was going to be poor... But damn that art is fantastic 🔥 I'm so excited that I'm getting back into the hobby because as someone who loves art I really appreciate Pokémon cards even more! When I was a kid it wasn't about the art at all and now it's crazy to just see the different styles, colours, backgrounds etc. I love it 😅
Its funny because most of the time you'd expect that, but you definitely can pick up some crazy good card for reasonable prices.
I love collecting cheap cards since I tend to go for artwork over pricing and so many great arts for this generation are so easy to access. I do think value is added with pricing but I also just enjoy the accessibility of these cheaper ones. These listed here are so amazing, and some other cards too are so great considering the pricing like Mantyke and joltik from paradox rift and grotle and mudsdale from Temporal forces. This generation has been amazing for me at least and I hope it's the same for everyone else.
Videos like this is great! We all want cool cards, but the "best" cards are always so expensive. The cards in this video is actually affordable, and yet so awesome 🤩 I have pulled multiple of these cards, and I thought they were really cool looking !
The Galarian Mew being this cheap is criminal. Such a sweet card and has a ton of other Pokémon’s chilling with the sleepy mew. I love that card.

@chiph7545 absolutely agree. Magmortar and electevile are also two awesome cards that look great together. Both having each other in the card. Cards like diancie and comfy, underrated arts for sure. And don't get me started on the deoyxs and latias cards. Absolute stunners!🔥

Oh also - for people who like cracking packs, that Shrouded fable Kingdra/Greninja is insane value to be opening. You usually lose, but its close to break-even on the whole box. There's some decent eBay sellers selling both boxes together for less than 60 and I think they're good sealed stashes and good to crack (specifically because there are a lot of competitive cards in the set)
I’m just getting back into Pokémon collecting since my childhood and the first card I decided to add was the Hydrapple EX Full art, cause I absolutely love him since the moment he was released. As a mainly sports card collector it is so interesting to see how the Pokémon card value market works compared to the sports world. I was wondering what people who see this think the best VALUE set is to be opening at the moment?
Paldea Evolved is SO undervalued. It's starting to be noticed, but there are heals and heaps of great IRs and SIRs in that set I'm suprised it doesn't do better
You can really find some nice and amazing pieces in the low priceranges, lots of alt arts and illustration arts, or generally cards that give the imersion a big OOMF!
Gotta love the cards that makes it feel like you are part og the pokemon world.
The Arceus UPC features 2 metal cards. His V and Vstar. It was a Gamestop exclusive in the US. I opened one with my son and kept one sealed as many people, including kids love Arceus and I see it doing well long term

Art rares are one of the most underrated cards. I have both the Lumineon and Kingdra, both really amazing cards.
Raboot was instantly my chase card. Was so glad it wasn't hard to pull.
I think the palafin ar from obsidian flames should also be included on this list. One of the sickest arts to date with colours popping everywhere. For 1.70 cad you really can’t go wrong, such a cheap beast of a binder card. The art is even perfectly symmetrical, it’s so appealing to look at! Can’t go wrong with picking up this card
Man, that Kingdra promo (as well as the Greninja promo) are the only thing that I purchased from Shrouded Fail. The Kingdra artwork in particular just makes me think this card is going to go up in value in a few years time.
Also, I didn’t even know that Gloom card existed - incredible artwork!
I’ve only recently started collecting again, and as much as I love the rush of pulling a chase card (Bubble Mew from Paldean Fates was my top chase, and I was lucky enough to pull it twice), I have started to get to that stage where I’m considering buying singles that it’s just not worth chasing.

I've been doing Galarian and Trainer Galleries while they're still cheap. Some of the best artwork by far too.
The mew and Mewtwo from 151 UPC are also awesome promos under $10 right now. I just picked up three of each to hold onto because that UPC is getting so hard to find. I think all of those UPC promos will be a great value looking back
