The main thing I need in this game is an official no-EX format. There's a small community of private match players that do this and they apparently have a lot of fun playing their meme decks there
@@TheShapingSickness I'm not complaining I know that. Some people just like longer games. Ex pokemon at 3 prizes really speed up the game and add a lot of "build up your thing and one shot for the win" gameplay.
I agree with the turn 1 rules. In the full TCG (which this is not) Player 1 still gets to place energy - just not attack. This maintains the balance of 'first player evolves first, but second player attacks first' without starving player 1 for energy and effectively ruining most hopes of building their engine in time. Hoping they change this back around - the full game's turn 1 ruleset was complex - but it is that way for a reason. It wasn't broken, though it is now.
@@ColleyFlourwouldn’t be as a big of a problem if you were able to build up faster tho. Sac a card and then kill its mewtwo with your engine. Should do a video on the tournament side of things. For example it was a E-Less golem deck that won a 1500 player tourney

You summed it up perfectly. They flood you with packs and hourglasses early, then cut you off when they got you hooked. Lol If you can earn a similar amount of hourglasses for each main set release, that’d honestly be huge.
@@SuperLaxTCG So far with the new mini set. They made a bunch of new solo missions that gave me enough hourglasses for a 10 pull and enough shop tokens to buy the hourglasses in the shop! I was very impressed 😁
You get 2 of everything most of the time some where in-between 80-100 packs and you get 2.33 packs per day for free 10$ for another 30 packs and a set of cosmetics, feels like the least greedy card game in a long time. Also I hear we are getting another set of missions like the ones you had to complete to unlock deckbuilding that gave you about 50 packs after you completed the solo battles.
@@ColleyFlour try out the new exeggutor with one ex, Greninja and your choice of kang or druddigon. Decks way fun and going second with exeggute is like playing meltan or Brock on golem, super strong plus it fishes a grass energy. Then Greninja fixes the opponent trying to play around exeggutor.

5 free packs a day or add a daily mission to compete to get 12 hour glasses. With more packs about to be released it’s gonna be tough with 2 packs a day.
I find it cunning in a way when you battle an opponent you initiate a good combo they stall a bit longer than the usual during their turn. then concedes 🤭 satisfying. like this crown star video!
It’s funny someone said flip the coin in a small area to get heads all the time and I either see the coin go a bit farther than my throw and give me tails or go a short distance balance on its side then fall to reveal heads
Yo be honest if someone doesn’t like randomization in games they should look for a different game. This game is designed to be played with coins and that will never change. There are no coin decks I play Blaine mostly but you will still get destroyed at least half of the time because of a coin flip that’s how the game is designed it’s not a flaw it’s a conscious decision
Literally, same dude. Tho i have come to accept all games feel like this at some point, this one depends on pace to be alive. Hope they can do a good job cause it really is a good game.
Been hooked with this game for the past couple of weeks, it somehow reminds me of clash royale on its early days, the thrill of opening a chest hoping to get a legendary, that was a feeling like no other. I wonder how long it’ll take for this game to lose its popularity, probably a year max. Anyways nice video, keep up the good work man!
@@ColleyFlour exactly!! There is not much out yet so you run into the same decks constantly so just be their weakness without any exs cards in your deck it make it harder for them to win all 3 points
