Thanks for making this vid! The length is fine, a bit long but your observations about the state of melee are 100% accurate. If you made two vids, one about the build and one about the State of Melee, it would be sick. Id probably even post the comments video to the forum so GGG is made aware.
Half way through the video, and my opinion is GGG needs to hire you. Thorough and succinct explanation of the build keep up the great work. Would you mind posting a follow up video showing you fighting the end game bosses?
Just fyi. When you were saying that you don't know if Magma Shield damage is affected by one handed or two handed nodes, when hovering over a node in the passive tree you can press ALT(maybe SHIFT?) and it will open a tooltip showing you which equipped skills are affected by that node.
Nailed it. Hate that some players are pushing melee as a casting class actually avoiding melee combat, in favor or ranged slams not actually engaging with the melee system. Warrior is imo most fun treating it as a souls game style, dodging, blocking, hitting, engaging with the monsters point blank.
@@mace7077 because the souls game style isnt efficient for actually pushing a build. blocking, hitting, rolling all take too much time and effort, whilst pressing one button and clearing a pack is not only easier, but faster and safer
Love the unique build! I'm going a beefy armour break, bleeding totem build with Resonating Shield to face tank and melt everything around me, feels amazing!
Highly recommend armour explosion on resonating shield. Probably remove rage. Trying the build right now and armor explosion with the magma makes it more fluid
Ah, took the advice on the resonating shield I see. Good stuff. I agree, it's not amazing but better than a standard shield raise. More of a why not than a why lol
it seems cheesy to me and TBH I'm not really sure the devs really understand the best way to use warcries right now is to use them as level 1 with 20% quality. Seeing as they adjusted every other gem to require levels, they'll adjust warcries eventually?
@@Shinshinvariety not leveling some gems is an optimal option in PoE1 too. Devs know that and is a design decision. Right now , for Warcries you can shout faster by leveling them. which can be useful for actually setting up combos while the boss is down or for mapping. But I think the mana cost increases is way too high now to compensate for that. I expect a patch to balance that a bit further down the line.
We need more of that high paced clear montages & shorts.

Is there any reason for not running a lower skill level warcry? It doesn't seem like increasing levels adds anything to the empower damage.

Yes. Run it with the Armour break nodes and it'll be a monster
I have over 500 str as a warbringer you can do anything you set your mind to.
