Hi, if you don't have thousands you'd better build a prototype using Axure or NinjaMock and try to raise funds. Although, keep in mind that investors look into how much money a founder spent on his idea.

Here I thought I could make my own social media app. Got a great idea for an app, theres nothing really like it yet. But the only thing i can is make the clickable prototype myself, how would you go about that? Like what steps do i have to take to continue
I have a social media app idea too for the past 4 years I have been just design it. I am a new web dev and now trying to learn Kotlin and back end just for this. You gonna need like people with different background like a python dev with django knowledge. I am still new to this. More research needed

How to moderate photos, images, etc?
That is always an issue. The best option is to find a person who doesn't have to be paid a lot. After you have so many photos that 2-3 moderators can't handle them manually. Or you can also use services like that one: picpurify.com

There are plenty of them, AWS could be an option, unless you grow too fast and if you have too many servers you might want to find a cheaper solution.

I want to create a community social app. I tried mewe it was great for a while until people start to post actual nudes, even real illegal shit, and harassing people. I post roleplay with anime pictures on mewe. But I get banned for making offensive and sickening roleplays. Yet people post actual nudes, even illegal shit, and harassing people keep their account. I want to create a community social app that allows a bill of rights. I would allow naked anime characters and you can write whatever you want. You know, freedom of post and freedom of literature. Of course, no real nudity, no illegal shit or harassing, and pages would be free like Facebook. It would be like google plus not mewe that social app became garbage rather quickly.

Social media app is about communication, so the issue about "what problem" is already there - communication. Actually, you can ask as many questions, the crucial thing - when would you launch your app and stop thinking about it.

I think all this is bullshit and a wast of time of the new generation building apps. Remember fb was build by one person then grew cost nothing to start same with other was only build by one person or 2 and grew, so now people need thousand of dollars to start something lol . All u need is to target a community and grow with time .
Also where are the technology used to build a app ? Choosing the right tech is more importing then a manager .
