Very very nice classics you have on your channel. You have unique and well put videos. The lift is useful and it makes things much easier. Thank you and thanks for taking the time to watch.
@@woman.driven Thanks! I had a thought about your ramps. We bought some of the super light RaceRamps and use those instead of the super heavy steel ones. They are a little low, so not a perfect fit, but only weigh a pound or two and we've never had a car scrap on them. We added LED strip lights under the lift to help brighten it up and they work great but can be fragile. You got a great deal on the lift and the installation. I think we paid $900 for the installation. So glad I found your channel! I'm looking forward to checking out more :) F

Hey Doris that is a very nice four post lift and it will come in very handy and will make the work that you do much easier I work in the truck shop we have the 30 thousand pound four post with rolling Jack it's a much larger lift for commercial use and yes very pricey but well worth it you made a good purchase and a good price and I don't think you'll ever regret it something else you may want to consider is getting you a roll around oil drain caddy that way when you change oil or fluids you're not trying to hit a pen way down on the floor just a suggestion but congratulations that's a very nice addition to your garage
That is a huge lift..30k pounds is a lot. I will consider the rolling jack sometime in the future. As for the oil drain caddy, it's a must. My issue is how do I drain it lol. Thanks for watching.
Hey, congrats and Happy Bday. I love these lifts, we have 6 of them where we store cars and 5 regular two post lifts. We are in an airplane hanger right around the corner from NJMP. At any given time we have up to 60 cars in our shop. You'll find that having a lift makes life so much easier.

Thank you for the video. I’m looking for a lift now and your use case is exactly what I needed. I have a 3 car garage and will put this lift on the one car side so I can park 4 cars in the garage.
Nice lift Doris, one other option that you did not mention for using a drive on lift to do wheel and suspension work. Get one rolling Jack + 2 tall jack stands. When you check the car up before you lower the jack to set safety latches put the jack stands under the rear axle and when you lower the lift it will lift the rear wheels up. You can then use the rolling Jack to lift up the front wheels and put jack stands between the lift and the unibody for safety. You will then be able to remove all four wheels but you will not be able to lower the lift while the tall jack stands or holding the rear end up. Another option would be to use short jack stands at all four corners between the lift and the unibody. Of course using your Lyft system is a viable solution also. By the way on a personal note I had to cut my travel short because my father passed away and his funeral is next Monday in New Jersey. I love the Southwest in the winter and will probably be back next year.
Eventually I would get the rolling jack as it is the easiest and quickest way to get the car up. For now, the quickjacks will do. It should be no different on the ramp at this point. Sorry about the unfortunate news that cut your trip short. I hope all is in order back home and my condolences to your and your family. Take care.
Was going through my youtube and saw this video, you are so beautiful and you work on cars that a great combination you just gain one more subscriber...
Great video! I'm having a house built with a two car and attached full RV enclosed garage. Will definitely be installing one of those. Is there a drip protective slider for sliding beneath oil pans in event of leak protection for cars parked beneath the lifted vehicles?
Thanks! Yes, we have a few of those houses in my neighborhood and their garage space is awesome lol. Yes, the two drip trays are between the ramps, which provides the protection you need. Congrats on the house. You'll love it! Thanks for watching.
Wow Doris tremendous idea in your garage I like it very much now all the toys are in place you are excellent that you enjoy it and remember safety firts although you are an expert in that a hug from an admirer part of you. To run to sai
It might be because of the lift, and how applicable it will be for what Doris wants to accomplish. It looks like she thought of what her needs are, especially when it comes to doing suspension work. After years of using jack stands in my own home garage, I would love to have this setup!
Hehehe the dislikes are more concerned about her legs than anything else in the video😂. Just goes to show if I can’t have it I dislike it. I do not dislike though cause I like this channel too much
They are great and not to expensive . I have had two now . My foot isn't super high so I use a rolling stool to work under it in my current garage. Also I stack my summer car on it in the winter so I can plow . Great investment. Only thing is in winter they come down a little slow because the fluid gets cold. I don't have the air locks mine is spring they lock as it goes up i don't like the air locks thing. Then you hold the lock lever and push the lower button no air on mine just 110v plug. I have a different brand and my ramps are also not attached you just book them on and drive up then unhook and raise it. I think my brand is better i don't remember what it is but look around . I also got a Jack tray that fits between the rails and slides back and forth but usually jack from the side rails with the aluminum floor jack

2-post gives you better room for sure. Four most gives you a lot more than you think. Plus when you add the rolling jack..you turn it into a 2 post. I just like the storage idea of it. Either post is fine.
Well you go. Girl!! Awesome video and great lift review. I will be looking into that lift for my soon future garage/house I'm getting ready to build. I had no idea you could roll them around on casters!! That's so epic. I wonder, does that work while the car is lifted? Keep up the kool vids, I'll be checking back to see what you have been up to.
That's great..very exciting in getting your house built! As for the casters, yes..you can move the lift around with a car on top. I have yet to try it, maybe one day lol. Thanks for taking the time to watch my video. Take care.

Hi Doris this video was awesome so glad to see you love the lift can't wait to see all the projects you are going to do with it also that lift will make detailing lower parts of the car so much easier also I gasped at the Car Limbo at 13:10
The look of how you kept checking your clearance and how relieved you was to make it was priceless. Had a friend who had to ride with duct tape on antenna of brand new M4 from scraping the bottom of garage door kmsl of the look of her face!!! The knee highs are muy perfecto btw!
Can I go to your garage 😄 I stopped breathing cuz the m3 wouldn’t make it but you made it. Awesome garage lifter nice and clean. Happy birthday to you!!! 🎁🎈🎂
Doris thanks for the reply you asked how do you drain the oil caddy when it's full you can buy and all caddy that has a valve in the bottom that you closed when it's full then it has a drain hose on it that you can put in a bucket or a barrel can you hook an air hose to the caddy to pressurize it and that fourth of the the oil out of the caddy into the drain hose which drains into your disposal bucket
ohh..okay. So then I don't have to worry about taking that caddy somewhere. Just drain into say a regular oil drain pan and take it to be disposed of. Nice. I will absolutely look into that. Thanks for clarifying.
the ramps drop down at the back to prevent the car from rolling off the back of the ramp just like the lips at the front to stop you from driving or rolling off the front. the quick jacks as you call them are axle stands, you can get really big/tall ones and use them to support the front or rear of the car as well.
The lip up front I leave on. The ramps I remove because I even at full height, in general, you can't drive a car underneath it when the ramps hang. So I remove them and just place the wheel chocks. The car won't roll because of that. Plus the lift is level.
I have a 4 post TITAN, and I back my GT350 onto the lift because of the short ramps. My lift is in the back corner of my shop, so backing it onto the lift lets you see that amazing front end!
Doris, Your local metal shop can sell you 2 pieces of 2.5 x 2.5 angle iron like a foot long each, that you can paint your favorite color and use as wheel chocks for your lowered cars. file the ends so they are smooth before you paint them. Your welcome.
It must be pretty cool to be able to easily work under a car. Imagine how much longer parts under the car can last if you are able to regularly inspect, clean, grease and lube up parts against water/rust. Unfortunately home garages in my country are too small to install such lifts.
It's a great addition and will make things easier. It helps having one. But regular maintenance overall will help the car last longer. Sadly, it all depends on the space you have. They do have smaller ones though.
Great garage!! Love the lift very nicely explained you going to have a blast getting your projects done 🔧 you just gave me motivation to start mine THANKYOU
Great video. I'd suggest a camera or 2 cameras that go to a screen to see how much clearance is left to the top of your garage or when you park a car under the lift. Just to be safe. Doesn't have to be expensive, just to eliminate the guess work and have more clearance under the lifted cars. Have a great day.
I will have more clearance. I just need to move up the GTR. Plus I will lower the GTR soon so the car won't be as high. I feel there is about 6 more inches I can raise the car. More than enough lol. Thanks for watching

I was looking at the 2 post car lift because it does give you more clearance for working on the cars but the 4 post is nice if you have the room.
2-post gives you better room for sure. Four most gives you a lot more than you think. Plus when you add the rolling jack..you turn it into a 2 post. I just like the storage idea of it. Either post is fine.
I like the diversity of your garage
Thank you, I appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time to watch. Take care.
Take care.
First time visitor to your channel. Great video, and lots of good info. It’s nice to see another woman who shares the same car passion as myself. Subscribed!!
Hi Doris this video was awesome so glad to see you love the lift can't wait to
see all the projects you are going to do with it also that lift will make detailing
lower parts of the car so much easier also I gasped at the Car Limbo at 13:10
Detailing up the car is a great idea lol. I can clean it up real nice haha. Thanks for watching!
I made a few ramps out of 2x10s for my low cars, and you could use 2 inch high wood as a stop too.
Not a bad idea for the stop. I think I have some wood laying around for that. Thanks!
This lift looks awesome! BTW MORE M content!! Love the videos! 👍
The only content for M would be maintenance for now. Perhaps in the future a supercharger. I will add some to the channel. Thank you I appreciate it.
I wasn't breathing inside the car as I was driving it under haha. Thank you!
Congrats on your new four post lift! And I know that you’re gonna put that lift to good use! And Happy Birthday!🐟
I sure am lol. Thank you!
Another great video Doris, Happy Birthday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!
I've never enjoyed watching someone discuss a car more!!! 🤩👍
I truly appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you and thanks so much for watching. Cheers.
@@woman.driven , You got it!!!
I have a 4 post TITAN, and I back my GT350 onto the lift because of the short ramps. My lift is in the back corner of my shop, so backing it onto the lift lets you see that amazing front end!
I feel I may have to do that until I get my 48inch ramps in. But looking at the front end isn't too bad for the time being lol. Thanks!
Doris, can you subscribe to my channel? I'm just getting started with some content and posted on the Quick-Latch hood pins.
Very nice!! I hope when you put the casters on the slope wont be to high to get your cars on the ramps?
I can't move the lift with a car on it. The casters are just used to move the lift around, then it drops it back down.
Happy birthday Doris. The hoist will make it a lot easier to do work under the car, looking forward to your other projects.
Thank you. Next video will be me working on my car on the lift. Very excited to do so.
Thanks for taking the time to watch. The garage is moving along nicely. Just a few more touches. I'm glad I can help with a bit of motivation. Cheers!
Thanks for watching
how can anyone give a thumbs down to this, gorgeous woman :)
It's the world we live in lol. We will never know. Thank you!
