Very good question. Then again - and no offense meant - John Peters (you know, the farmer?) once thought that a cornfield was people, so he may not be 100% on top of it at all times...

Night vale is a very calm fandom to be, just ignore if someone knock in your door after midnight ,or weird noises that that desapear when you take you headphones off, or the cold and dreadfull felling of a hands in your feet when you're trying to sleep . I started listening in around 2018, (so like...5 years late). I've been going through the episodes at my own pace. I kind of dont want to catch up? but thats gonna take a while :)

@@tavrosnitram1529 that seems to work in theory, but it's not in any other episodes. Is it an effect from the universe collision? Perhaps in the next episode it'll say like " *your* universe is fading" or something. Maybe it's not actually anything!

Head the crackle for it is your consciousness warning you to turn the radio off and experience the Harvest. You wouldn’t ignore your own conscious now would you? Would you?
