I'm plant-based with zero meat in the house. I purchased Purina dry dog food and I'm realizing that's wrong bc it's full of grains. Please suggest what to feed the puppy. Huskies eat meat with a certain amount of fat that is needed for there diet... As a treat we will give Timber a piece of cheese once and a while but not offer most of the time it is meat remember they are a wolf dog and bread for the cold weather ....
For best result feed N&D puppy food per 100gr/10kg body weight of puppy with 50gr curd.. don't need any other it is perfect diet includes all nutrition values
I feed my muskey meat from the butcher scraps meat and fat along with cheese old fort for a treat then mostly are meat eaters and need fat to help with there fir they have tow different layers of fir there 1st coat keeps them warm in below 0 temp and 2nd layer as was water repellant and is there color as well remember they were bread for the cold climate and eat meat not rice they will eat grass if they have a upset stomach and throw up afterwards but to feed them cereals is not the best thing to do even grass they are a meat eating dog up in the attic they are part of the family and even sleep with there master to keep there master warm in the cold....

There's no nutritional requirement of carbs ( Grains and cereals) for dogs. Dry dog food is already full of these as fillers to make it cheap. Better to mix more good foods in dry dog food such as curd, chicken broth, boiled eggs or boiled vegetables like Carrots, peas, pumpkin etc.
