I've always experienced stubbornness; and I often joke about how to a Husky, it's not a "command," it's just a suggestion. And of course, their predatory instincts; they're basically cats in a dog costume.! LOL
I have 2 rescue Huskies that are older and I would have loved to raise them from pups but there are so many that need homes. I love them very much and regardless of their age I'm blessed to have them in my life!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰

I adopted a 3 month old black and white Husky pup in Nov. of 2019. He's 4 1/2 now. Huskies are escape artists and full of energy. One is enough for me.

I recently "dog sat'" a Siberian Husky for eight weeks over the summer. I have had long haired breeds before but I swear that the amount of fur that came off her was enough to make another dog. Lol. She 'talked' almost constantly to me and it was difficult to give her back.
That's only during the shedding season, other wise they do not shed that bad.

Beautiful babies. I've had several huskies and raise a litter. And they do love people but they're notorious for back-talking and are escape artist. And they are high energy and need lots of room to run. I love them and yes all that fur too. They cannot take heat and humidity climate. ❣❣
OMG do they love to dig. I came home from work one day and I actually thought the utility company came out and was working on something. There was a long deep trench in a perfect shape. Then I got to looking closer and our husky stuck his dirty little head up..😁

Hello I wish to have one husky. I rarely have pet before. But I really want to have husky. I know this one need a cold weather. Do it need AC all the time? Or just sometime? How to do daily care for them from 3 months old. And how size the cage to place them at home to make them feel like not prisoner and conformable? I know it's a bit allergy if it make them feel hot. Money of buying not important. And not cos I want it I should have it. But I'm just afraid of my lack caring or not so knowing about husky could ruin their life after I decide to take one. Please give me some advice 🙏
Hello Eric. After knowing that you have rarely pet a dog before, you live in a warm climate and will not be able to give full attention.... Husky would be a wrong breed to pick. I would advice you pick any other breed (after having experience). First time owners get shocked by the amount they shed, need high protein diet, all time AC if you live in warm climate and lots of grooming and long walks. initially these things looks easy but in long term it makes the life of husky miserable and d owners too if you are unable to fulfil d above. But if you can really commit please go ahead as they are a loving breed.

Huskies are very gentle and faithful.... But unable to buy it due to subcontinent's weather. It will be inhuman to keep such type of dogs in Indian climate...

My husband and I have a 5 year old white husky, named Cooper and his black and white, three year old daughter. Good thing we have 8 acres cuz they love to run and play. Our home is full of love, howls oh and hair.

In my region we have Max 35°C and Low 5-9°C in winters but there is lot of rainfaill. Is the climate suitable for Serbian Husky?
Every place is suitable just take care
If it's not too humid you can go for husky. just take extra care during summers. They need AC
What food we have to give this dogs rice nd curd.. or other pls give reply
They need high protein diet. Curd is a good option. Give them kibble, chicken, fish eggs.... once in a while rice is ok but not every day. Do keep the weather conditions in mind before buying a husky.
How do you keep your house so clean with so many huskies it's a difficult job because I also have one

They have the 💯same habits as you mentioned .
My Q is their father of puppies want to play with their puppies but female I mean mother did not let him and sometimes start bark on each other .

Thank you for watching. She maybe protective or possessive about them. Under your supervision you can try to make them play and asure her that the father is not going to harm the pups. And another case can be she is not happy that he is playing with them instead of her. In this case too she will soon accept the fact that the pups want to play with their dad as he must be more active.

Diet chart
All dog breeds are unique in their own way. But personally I do not support owning huskies ,St Bernards, Tibetan mastiff or any breed who suffer because of unsuitable climate in India even though I live in a hill station. Even with the best owners, their lifespan is greatly shortened because of the weather. Honestly as an animal lover, my favourite will always be our Desis and my heart welcomes all breeds who are misunderstood or abused forever in my home❤❤❤
I totally agree with you on all points When I got husky I had no idea or knowledge about this breed. But personally I too don't recommend Husky to anyone living in iIndia except you are from Kashmir or upper Himachal.
i;ve had 4 'sibes' all full rpedigree but they were friends not for show
walking them as a pack was a problem as everyone wanted to stop & talk about them

he lived to 18 yrs & was my constant shadow & companion
I lost 2 to cancer both blue eyed greys yet 1 grey's brother who was black with amber eyes was never affected
he lived to 17 nearly 18 yrs
A husky should never be walked OFF A LEAD
it takes it into his head he's fonna run & all the training in the world will not stop it

I totally agree with you, huskies are one of the most loveable breeds,just too friendly. People should have a thorough knowledge about them and only then keep them. I have seen so many people buy them because they look beautiful and later are not able to take good care of them. It's painful to see such dogs.

A HUSKY has 3000 yrs of breeding to be man's helper
BUT in the summer months when no snow so no sleds the dogs are often let loose to fend for themselves which is why the husky hunting instinct is so strong
but of course the snow comes back so the husky breeding is to love humans so much they come willingly when called even after 3-4 months of living wild & free
as guard dogs they are as much use as a chocolate tee pot
BUT YOU MUST ALWAYS BE THE ALPHA or the husky thinks it is and will do what the **** it likes
a bored husky can 'eat' a 3 seat sofa in 10 minutes as a BREEDER friend found out when she went for a quick shower

Hi.... If you take my suggestion please don't buy husky if you live in Lucknow. Prefer other breed. Initially you will be happy to keep a husky but with time you will see they are not ment for that weather and you will also not like to see them in that condition .
