Thank you Jay Sacha and Story for bringing us again on another staycation. Puppy became mommy's girl she loves Sacha very much and Story is more love;y and beauuuutifullllll girl. Love you
That place is a surprise in the middle of a remote island, it's hi-tech & very innovative. Impressive! Puppy is now a traveler. Looking good puppy! You look more beautiful & different every passing day. As always Story is growing fast, taller than the first day I saw her in your channel. Eight Miles, it's like you're part of my family. I see you everyday, it's not only Story that I see growing fast but puppy too. Puppy have unique features. Her eyes look bright. Jay is right puppy's eyes like someone put eyeliner on them. That white spot on her face makes her different. You can spot her easily with her special features. Eight Miles, once again wish you all the luck in the world. Stay safe wherever you go. As always take care & enjoy! ❤
Wow! It is nice to see Poppy's transformation from the first time that you find him. It is so amazing! And Poppy is such a sweetheart in your video. I am so hooked to seeing Poppy in your vlog. You guys are such a good family to watch. Thank you for staying in the Philippines, Jay, Sacha, and Story! We love you a lot!!!
thank you jay sacha and story for taking us with you on yet another staycation. poppy has grown all her natural hairs. take care guys and stay safe always.
Always good to see Pops and watch her getting better and better everyday. I’m impressed the way you take care of her and showered her lots of love since the first day she came and popped to your door. What a loving family. Blessings!
Poppy looks like a very smart and fast learner dog. It’s good to see that Shasha always gives time to train Poppy and she can easily adapt her teaching. Poppy was one of those lucky dog who found a new lovely family. Her transformation was really amazing. Thanks J and ShaSha and story for loving and taking care of her.Godbless your lovely and beautiful Family👨👩👧🐕❤️😇🙏🏼
Another staycation oh wow thats nice refreshing and relaxing to you three and poppy. Happy for you guys i hope you have fun and enjoy the place had exquisite view to see outside your villa. Poppy also happy, enjoying and exploring that place. Stay safe, and take care always.
I wish I'm in Siargao right now. You guys are so lucky. I'm so surprised how poppy is so well behaved. What a lovely dog. I been watching your daily vlogs and gives me joy. Thank you so much 8milesFam. Keep those lovely videos coming.
Poppy is turning into a handsome puppy and looks like an intelligent one as you teach him, so good for him to be able to find you and turned his life around from a stray puppy to have a family. Seeing him reminds me as if Eden is still present. Wishing your family all the best with God's favor and protection always...
For a standard house ( with 3 bedrooms and 3 a/c plus all other electric equipments ) 3.5 - 4.0 KW total power capacity could be supported by 12 big solar panels for you to totally go off-grid. Estimate at this time , you may need to spend around 400K pesos (base on mainland cost) for a complete set-up The biggest cost would be for the power storage battery . Maybe in another year or two the total cost should further erode. Standby generator could be a back up during rainy days when your system is not able to harvest enough sunlight to charge the batteries. But for residential use , normally you won't need back-up generator. You just plan your power usage during rainy days so that you will not deplete your stored power until you are able to harvest sunlight again to full charge the batteries. Take note that battery maintenance cost should be factored in. You may need to replace batteries every 3 yrs as batteries degrade in 2-3 yrs. Solar panel lifespan can last up to 20 - 25 yrs. You may research further on Tesla batteries (similar to the types used in Tesla EVs) that they claim can last up to 20 yrs?
@@eelchiong6709 You can add up more batteries and panels. No limit on batteries that can be added but of course it needs additional panels too. You can even make your system into Megawatt capacity , enough to supply a whole barangay 🙂 The limitation of course is on the budget you're willing to spend and your area where you can install panels to harvest solar power.
Sascha develope so many things livingin philippines and so with your dad,i love how you appreciate philippine culture and so with story living in a quite peaceful world!Ilove it!
Here at my place in Australia, every house's roof is covered with solar panels...I'.m not sure how it works but I switch it on when there is no sun or cloudy or when it is raining the whole day so that I'll have a hot shower.
Poppys looks very much of Edens eyes there, hi there happy family, you really are a happy pill to us, nice place you have there hoping youll already found a place you could call your own with the same solar energy am so excited for you when that day comes
I love your little staycations. I can't wait to visit the island when it reopens. I have so many accommodation options from your featured places. You've definitely become major advocates of Siargao 😍
I hope when the pandemic is over you can visit Ilocos Norte in Northern Philippines. They were the first to use alternative energies like windmills, solar and hydro. The windmill of Bangui is amazing to see!!!
Oh, Maria Christina falls hydroelectric plant has been going on since the 70s here in Mindanao. It used to supply the entire grid until consumption went above its capacity.
There's another vlogger Hungry Syrian Wanderer who had his new house installed with SOLAR panels recently. He even went up to the roof to watch the installation of his SOLARS.
Yup and SM malls are usually solar powered already. They can actually generate excess solar power and they sell back to the grid. They save alot from their power costs because of their solar power set-up.
It's really a good idea to have many Philippine islands be powered by solar energy. You can't really rely on those small electro-power company. Solar power is the way to go.☀️🌅
Jay, kulas of Becoming Filipino vlog, just completed his solar power system installed in his beach house in cateel, Davao de Oro. You could check his uploads on this.
I share your dream of going solar powered. I have dabbled in it on a very small scale (a couple of 200w panels and two deep cycle 100a/h lead acid batteries) for lighting. Eventually I want to be able to go off grid entirely. Have you seen Becoming Filipino's vlog and his solar system at his beach property in Cateel?
I was about to comment about Kyle's (Becoming Filipino) Solar Power Setup as well but I found your comment already. Hahaha. Yeah, having an off-grid solar power setup is a great idea.
Nice to see Poppy playing fetch. That is the liveliest I have seen her, but she still seems really uncomfortable with that belly and low energy for a young pup. I hope that she is recovering properly from her poorly beginnings and that the vets have been giving her a thorough examination each time she visits and that she is on a regular puppy worming schedule and appropriate feeding.
Another beautiful place, a sustainable earth friendly way to stay in the beautiful island. 😍😍 Siargao could use solar power and not be so reliant on the local power grid which is unstable.
Normally, I am not a fan of family vlog but because you are a very kind hearted family who adopted a stray Aspin (my favorite breed but I cannot adopt because I live in an apartment), I try to support you by watching the ads. Hope to visit Siargao when this pandemic is over.
15:50 The Elvis version the bread was fried in a pan with butter, as were the bananas and bacon. I think his version was vastly unhealthier than yours.
I have been living the dream now for 8 month's now, We had a 6kilowatt off grid Solar System for 8 month's I love it. We will be adding another 6 kilowatts to it next time once we finished the remaining rebuild of the main House, we finished the 2 apartment's construction and added a second garage and made the Suri Suri store twice the size that it was but to do that we had to relocate the bedroom's to the second floor. Also changed the roof so not so many angles but Now 1 angle at a 45 degree angle to the south for the solar panels to sit on. The Solar panels will also add a little more shade to the roof reducing the heat from it entering the home.
I enjoy watching your video, watching here in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan Phil. I'm a long-time one of your subscribers, totally supporting your channel. Keep safe always and God Bless.
My little Angel has many toys but her favorite one is her dock :). It’s the only toy she played with. She protect it from our cat Toby. Animals are so adorable. Oh yah Elvis breakfast is my favorite too every morning :).
Poppy is now so cute and looks so healthy. Thank you lovely 8miles fam for letting him part of your family.🐕🐕🐕

Poppy is so cute in her training
You’re such a nice and loving fambam💕💐🤗

I just saw your post on IG that Poppy is really sick at the moment and was rushed to the Vet. Praying for her speedy recovery 🙏🐶
I was smiling from ear to ear watching poppy doing the fetch game. Poppy is very intelligent.

In Cateel, Davao... Kulas, (Becoming Filipino) is building a Beach RESORT (for Surfing) is also using Solar Power.
Here at my place in Australia, every house's roof is covered with solar panels...I'.m not sure how it works but I switch it on when there is no sun or cloudy or when it is raining the whole day so that I'll have a hot shower.
What an incredible place. It’s nice to see that it is energy conscious and prepared for any brown outs. Very sustainable.
Wow, poppy's improved a lot. and a lot happier too.
Poppys looks very much of Edens eyes there, hi there happy family, you really are a happy pill to us, nice place you have there hoping youll already found a place you could call your own with the same solar energy am so excited for you when that day comes

Aspin breed is so superior. Thank you for taking care of her. I really like your stories and waiting each time for new videos.
I hope when the pandemic is over you can visit Ilocos Norte in Northern Philippines. They were the first to use alternative energies like windmills, solar and hydro. The windmill of Bangui is amazing to see!!!
I’ve heard the cost of the electric bills there are not high compared to the rest of the provinces.

Solar is the way to go for sure. And there is no shortage of sun power here...Hahaha! 😂 Let's eliminate pollution.. The sooner the better! 😁
That was fun!
When you get to travel more of the Philippines, you'll find that there are actually quite a few towns that are powered by solar energy. :)
Yup and SM malls are usually solar powered already.
They can actually generate excess solar power and they sell back to the grid.
They save alot from their power costs because of their solar power set-up.
Yep. There is a solar farm in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
We need more solar powered establishments there! Stay safe!
It's really a good idea to have many Philippine islands be powered by solar energy. You can't really rely on those small electro-power company. Solar power is the way to go.☀️🌅

And I share your excitement for your future off-grid home! Bless your dreams!
solar panels are the way to go! 💯
Totally agree!
Thank you guys for showing us your experiences in Philippines.
