Hate people that let there dogs just run around the neighborhood. Not everyone knows your dog.
Same here if someone can’t keep their dogs on a leash then they should not get a dog. Dogs can easily get hit by cars and you never know if they will bite people. If they don’t want to keep them on a leash in the yard that has no fence, then they should install invisible fence around their properties.

The policeman too because he could have just stayed in his car, or drove somewhere else.
Equally?? The owner is the ONLY person at fault.
@@MissVavoom7519 He responded to a loose dog. Why would he have to stay in the car? It's a free world to walk in. That right there just proves the dog is to unpredictable to be let loose. And shouldn't be loose in the first place. The cop did his job he tried to calm it with a simple hand and nope that dog was to aggressive. How is this dog allowed to run that far away from the property (which looks tiny anyways, a shared lawn). And essentially into the neighborhood as you can see many other homes and/or apartments right beside them and snarl and snap teeth at the officer? You know, dog have this stuff on his neck… named collar. If you were asked to leash the dog, first you grab dog by the collar, next you both go for the leash. As simple as it gets. Owners were overly confident in dog verbal obedience.

Keep your dogs on a leash 🤷🏽♂️
Unfortunately, when people allow their dogs to run free in a yard without a fence and without a leash, stuff like this could happen. The officer protected himself. Where's Blue Lives Matter for this case?
Dog Lives Matter > Blue Lives Matter + Black Lives Matter
Next time, don’t let your dogs run wild. It’s your own fault. 🤷🏻♀️
Guess what? Keep your dogs on a leash or in your backyard, or even in your house, and you won't have this problem. If you let your dogs run loose, that tells me that you obviously don't care about your dog's safety or the safety of anyone else around you
I love dogs but this was the owners fault they was told to put the dog on a leash they choose not to and as a result he showed aggression towards the cop
I am not getting mauled and possibly dying just because someone consider their dog a family member.
Owners fault if your dog is aggressive keep it on a leash!
The dog is in it's yard. You have to give the owner a chance to get to it.
This is terrible, that cop should be sued
As a dog lover I still have to support the officer. The dog was clearly on the attack and should not be allowed to run free without leash, fence, or immediate control of the owner. What was the officer supposed to do, let the dog attack him?
A criminal in uniform, he should be arrested and charged.
As a dog owner, if you truly love your dog, you would make sure that they aren't being let out and wandering without a leash or proper boundaries like a fence.
Have to leash your dog, just because your dog likes you and your family does not automatically mean it will be friendly to everyone else. Clearly you can see it wanted to bite
That’s a bad cop. He should never be firing in the direction of people. And the dog is trying to protect the kids. And the dog he ran over? What’s wrong with you people?

Because he was responding to a call, duh 🙄
Sad but it neded to be on a leash. It was definitely ready to attack him
THE OFFICER LITERALLY PUT HIS HAND OUT TO PET THE DOG. After he found out the dog was aggressive, he did what he had to do. This is ridiculously normalized now for dog owners to wander around with their dog not on a leash. It’s your responsibility as a dog owner to keep your dog on a leash. Not the public’s responsibility to put up with your aggressive dog.
