Great video Tristen! I never even knew Whittier had this beast. Seems like Whittier alleys are very filled with bulk and litter. I just can't get enough of the packer this truck has, and the rev it has while in operation. Really great capture, definitely going into my favorites!
Sweet video, with all the stuff they picked up it almost, felt like a mini county clean-up day. Also, that's unfortunate that they have to pick up all loose trash, it would probably be better if they had a sweeper run through there. Since Athens tookover, does Athens now do the alley cleanups now?
Very nice video! I especially liked watching when the crew used shovels to pick up all that loose trash. Do you know the reason behind the right hand drive option? I was wondering since Athens has taken over there, have they done anything to the rear loaders or have they got new ones? Loved seeing that mattress being crushed in the first clip. Good job Tristen!
I was wondering what this yellow rear loader was doing in your compilation, it seemed so out of place for SoCal, definitely a nice treat for me being a big fan of rear loaders. Maybe it's the dumb teenager in me, but if it was my video, I just might have titled it "Making the City of Whittier Looking Good" for kicks. The rake/shovel style of collection reminds me of videos I've seen of third world countries, particularly Mexico and India. th-cam.com/video/aOJxke_q2vg/w-d-xo.html Overall a very satisfying video, it complimented Kanyile's RL upload very nicely.
