You say that Krabs may have killed somebody, remember how meticulous in planning Krabs was in "Nasty Patty" after he thought they killed the health inspector? My point being he has _definitely_ done this before.

In the episode Squidwards Clarinet Land when Mr Krabs brought out his old locker and when he opens it up spongebob asked who the skeleton inside it was and Mr Krabs said it was his old Sargent and he forgot about that prank and to let him out. So canonically Mr Krabs has actually committed third degree murder
I understand not airing the episode on TV, but not putting it on DVD is stupid. If someone gets offended watching the episode on DVD, then it’s their own fault for seeking it out in the first place. No one forced them to watch it. Also, the idea of having a banned or lost episode on DVD is something a lot of fans love and gives them reason to buy the DVD, thus boosting sales. It’s the same kind of thrill people get from finding uncensored or uncut versions of their favorite shows
Parents buy DVDs for their kids. Who watch them without researching the episodes beforehand. Because they're children. Maybe when they rerelease the seasons later, like they do when they sell the collections, maybe they can add it back in when people are done mourning the deaths of their grandparents. For now, though, this is probably the best move.
The fact that this episode was removed from The Complete Twelfth Season DVD is the final straw. This is the reason people will pirate episodes online/watch for free. Because when the company refuses to make "Kwarantined Krab" available legally, what are you gonna do?
A Tom and Jerry collection on blu Ray got cancelled because of boomer aged fan backlash and the fact that the two shorts featuring a certain Mammy two shoes, a black American stereotype, were absent from tv airings for a long time due to values dissonance.
The thing is disease awareness and the science behind it shouldn't even be a political issue, it should be common sense. I look at this less as a "left vs. right" issue and more of a "smart vs. stupid" one.

People often find things that make them uncomfortable, less so when combined as humor; example, a relatable meme in which a person says something socially aberrant that you can relate to. This can also go into darker memes, but usually can't get too dark and that's a good thing. Humoring bad things helps enlighten tension, which is why comic relief is used in fiction and has benefits to real life. It dispels panic a little. Feel free to disagree, if you see fit.
I just put a warning after the intro of the episode saying "Warning the episode was made before the pandemic, it is not to make fun of the virus in any way, shape, or form. Please talk to the kids after the episode and go to (insert website about quarinteen theme nick) and enjoy". Also the screen has Sandy putting 6 feet bamboo away from spongebob and patrick and everyone is wearing a mask. I just do that and then air the episode in English.
Warner Brothers made something similar when showcasing older works and everyone understood the message loud and clear: these cartoons are old and don't represent the current views and morals, but we keep them anyway for historical purposes.
The quarantine episode being banned really reminds me of how an episode of the Pokémon anime called tentacool and tentacraul was banned after 9/11 for images of buildings blowing up

This episode is banned but there is 2 more episodes they did not ban. Number 1. In the episode “Squilliam's visit” When Squidward's collegue at high school Squilliam told him : “Suck eggs” It is weird for kids to watch. Number 2. The episode “Procasinating” When SpongeBob had an essay and he was putting off assignment. He was thinking for a Driver’s License. And they showed a car crashing in a race track.

I was gonna thank you for being a channel that helps people escape from real life problems, then I saw the comment rules. I really like those to. I wish all comment sections would have those rules
I think especially since it was made before the pandemic, it should be released later if anything. With the pandemic still being fresh right now I still don't think it should air now because of people who were affected negatively by it and all. It's just tone deaf. But later on, I think it would be fine to release it.

Another difference between Fungus Among Us & Quarantine Krab is that the disease in Fungus Among Us is something that Gary can eat away without harming the sick person, & the disease in Quarantine Krab is a virus that Gary can't eat. A fungus is VERY different from a virus. A fungus isn't anywhere near as upsetting to viewers as a virus is (given the context of a real world pandemic & when each Spongebob episode was made).
I think the episode should air. Not right now but maybe some time after the pandemic is over, like a few months or probably a year or whatever time people need to get back to being used to not having to quaratine.

Another difference between Fungus Among Us & Quarantine Krab is that the disease in Fungus Among Us is something that Gary can eat away without harming the sick person, & the disease in Quarantine Krab is a virus that Gary can't eat. A fungus is VERY different from a virus. A fungus isn't anywhere near as upsetting to viewers as a virus is (given the context of a real world pandemic & when each Spongebob episode was made).
I think the episode should air. Not right now but maybe some time after the pandemic is over, like a few months or probably a year or whatever time people need to get back to being used to not having to quaratine.
