    I came here knowing this stuff already, and I've been using Celestion ir's for a couple of years but, I still watched it all. I just thought I'd say that this is definitely one of the best videos I've seen for anyone needing an introduction to the world of ir's.

    Thanks to IRs, I choose and then bought speakers I really like - V30 and creamback-65.

    Thank you for your video about IR. I started using IR when practicing guitar and my tone is improving. I become happier and my skill is improving.

      +Rendy Andrian glad to hear it! I've made a few videos on using different IR loaders and different speakers for different tones. Check it out!

    Thank you as a drummer and someone who owns a helix. I can’t play a lick of guitar but really wanted to get cabinet IR’s
    And overwhelmed by the others to many choices.
    What a great product and really they should get so much props for doing this.
    This is what a company does to move forward, like the impulses or not they actually sell these speakers.
    So this is a big risk and they should be praised for this.
    And you have made me a lot smarter in these videos. Now I understand so much more and thank you so much
    I do field recordings to make my own IR’s so I am familiar with the process but the explanation of speakers was a mind opening experience
    Thanks again

    Great video and explanation of IR's. I just got a Helix and was wondering what these are, and how or why I should use them.

    How are the two notes versions of the celestion impulses, I know youve got your own ones but Im more of a vox cab guy and they have the blue 212 model.

    • @adamsteelproducer
      @adamsteelproducer  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They’re just different, the a Two Notes ones you can change the mic positions on a dial where the IRS are fixed. They sound great 👍

      @@adamsteelproducer thanks for your response! similar tone though? Yeah the main reason I'm interested in the two notes version is the moveable mics and overload features. The latter is what I find missing especially from vox style impulses because they don't have non linear responses. Ghost notes and speaker compression are part of that ac30 tones.

      Have you got Wall of Sound? Download them through La Boutique and try them for free before you commit

    To simplify for a noob with MBP Garageband. Guitar into the DI of the id4 out to monitors, can I use GBand for the amp sim or use my amp and buy a Two Notes Captor load box out to my studio monitors? Looking for which avenue to pursue. I understand I will need a file host like Rosen to load the Celestial IR's and eventually move on to the more involved Logic Pro. Marshall JCM2000 60 head with 1960a cab and Matchless Lightning combo stereo out of Strymon stereo pedal. Thanks for your contribution.

    Question: why would one prefer a 1 x 12 cab instead of a 4 x 12 cab of the same speaker?.. also, why would one purchase all 1 x 12, 2 x 12 and 4 x 12 open and closed backs of the same speaker, and pay for 6 different files. instead of paying for 6 4x12's (closed or open) of different speakers.. are the differences that significant?

    • @adamsteelproducer
      @adamsteelproducer  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The differences are absolutely huge. A 1x12 has a much more focused sound, and open/closed makes a huge difference to low end response and room reaction (the IRs take room sound into account) so it can change drastically. I’ve made videos comparing the exact same speaker in different sized cabs and it’s night and day.

      I see, alright thanks for the super quick response! I'm still watching the video lol, thankyou for doing all this, it's very helpful!

    Can you get better sounds by building or buying an iso box for your 🔊 speaker cab?

    Great video.. how do you load these Celestion IR to a Mooer Radar?

    • @adamsteelproducer
      @adamsteelproducer  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks- I’ve just googled it, you use the usb connection on the radar and Moore’s software, then import the IR you want into the radar. Then select that one on the pedal - job done

      Hop Pole Studios many thanks
      The Celestion Impulse Response are wav files I believe does the software convert them or does that not matter?

    • @adamsteelproducer
      @adamsteelproducer  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have no idea, but wav files are the most common IR format so I guess that’s the right thing

    • @georgewilkins7877

      Hop Pole Studios I think it will be fine I wasn't aware that the format was Wav...

    These IR’s sound fantastic with my Fractal. Much better than the Fractal internal cabs which also sound great. I kept it simple , 4X12 , and will use the Higain Muti Mic mixes.
