Soobeen Lee playing the Wieniawski 10 years ago in the Menuhin competition was the greatest performance I have heard from a living violinist. After years of study it's hard to retain individuality. Ricci said to me he went through a period of playing 'how you were meant to'. I hope all classical musicians realise what is most important in music is individual expression - and that sometimes entails spiccato that is not pretty and a sound that is not beautiful.
Los señores Bach, Paganini y Chopin se han levantado de su tumba para felicitar la ejecucion a SooBeen LEE de estas obras que probablemente ellos mismos no llegaron a tocarlas así de bien.
BRAVO SOOBEEN LEE! my favorite in the competition thus far. I hope you win first prize!❤
Very, very beautiful interpretation. Blessings

Stop sensationalizing child prodigies and holding them to impossible standards when they become adults.
@@danny_chestnut253Because you hear something different to me doesn't mean I should stop - or that you should take notice if you disagree :)
@@patrickpaganiniyou're insufferable and everything that's rotten about classical music listeners. Just nasty toxic and mean spirited
I agree that her Wieniawski was mind blowing and hard to top but she remains an incredible violinist today
