01-04 sequoia cold air intake install

was able to grab one of these, a Volant performance cold air intake. very good quality and easy to install. noticeable gain up top end and it sounds way better now.
this mod should also work for
2000-2004 tundra as well

Amazon. They are the autosaver88 lights for 04 and up tundra but will fit with slight mod

Question, I notice the Trac land VSC is on. I have both on with a check engine light. Just wondering if you have or had the same problem and advise any fixes for it.

That's due to my bad yaw rate sensor, so I unplugged the traction control in order to keep my abs from freaking out. It drives fine for the passed 2 years and can still pass emission

What did you spray for the hose fitting.

It's just some parts lubricant to make it easier for the hose to slip over the fittings. Thanks for viewing 🍻

@@187denver I didn't like the way it sat so I filed the hole slightly bigger to make it sit more flush. It didn't give me any issues before hand but I like the maf sensor tucked

Re-gearing will help with acceleration so would headers. But these trucks/suv aren't really made to go fast.

Hopefully they didn’t mean that in a personal way. Possibly just referring to the likelihood that there’s little or nothing to be truly gained power wise from this particular modification on this particular application. Of course what’s actually important is whether or not you as the owner enjoy it. If you do then it’s worth it ;)
