Ah, you're visiting the place I work everyday. Would've been great to rendez vous with one my favorite TV personalities. Hope you enjoyed the Big Apple.
In addition to the amazing music Les creates- I would love to see more content like this as well. Urban survival most definitely. Also I really enjoyed the episodes for surviving Natural disasters and the like. These are two very critical things lately. As always though- all of your content is absolutely solid and well done.
my Wife is/ was a primary scholl teacher . We were in the super market and there was a guy 6 ft 2in watching her and sort of following ,i said do you know that guy ,she said I think so he was one of my students ,so he could have been about 7 or 8 years old at the time . He gingerly came towards her,and said Hello madam,do you remember me and she said of course Roman how are you ? I am a police officer now ! and when she said well done that's very good ! a big smile spread across his face ,just like a child of 7/ 8 years old ,he was so happy to see his first Teacher ! It was a beautiful moment !
Phew boy, can you imagine a Survivorman NYC edition? He can play harmonica, if he dressed right he could blend in with the bums and avoid the monsters, would be a lot scarier than any bigfoot lurking!
Hi Les, you are such a great man. I love all your episodes of survivorman they're so informative and entertaining. Please keep it up man. Cheers from a Swedish outdoor enthusiast 😁
Surviving in NYC isn't easy! I got lost in the Museum of Natual History one time, and thought I was going to get locked in overnight and everything was going to come alive! It was scary, man! I'd rather tackle a black bear 😂 Central Park is awesome, though. Definitely need to see this movie.
I loved Plane, its action packed from beginning til the end. What sucked was on Prime it was $19.95 to RENT..while other new movies that SUCK are only $5.99 to rent.😮
Wow, can't believe you were in my city!! I'm known to be somewhat of a prepper by my peers, friends and collegues.. and hitting on your first sentence regarding central park... I work rather close to central park and in the case of an emergency I DO keep a get home bag in my office. I had the idea that in a worst case scenario, as I've packed some camp food and a small shelter system in my bag.. do you think the wooded area of Central park would be a nice location to take refuge in an emergency situation? In the case I were able to travel from my job towards home I have also thought of traversing the subway tunnels towards my house. What are your thoughts if any? Amazing, you were on 55th and 6th and I work on 55th and 5th!! Damn!!!
"Big Foot weirdos" ... sure, wouldn't want any of those pesky facts & personal experiences influence you...rather go live in ignorance & bliss. Prejudice & ignorance is strong & alive in 2023 i see.
Wasn't too bad of a movie; a few minor gripes with the gunfight at the end, and the dialogue when addressing the passengers with the "here's the deal" bit. Biggest jarring, to me, was Gerry playing a more subdued role after being used to him playing the kick ass former special forces guy in yhe Olympus Has Fallen series. Dont get me wrong, he did it well and made it believable, but it's like watching Liam Neesan doing a bright and cheery romantic comedy, or Keanu Reeves doing river dancing, when you've seen them tear apart teams of hardasses on screen.
So funny, ifffff I had two celebrity crushes, Les Stroud and Gerard Butler actually happen to be my two. My fate brought you together, lol. Don't tell my husband.😂
@Survivorman - Les Stroud Ohh man, it's an honor to get a reply! I didn't mean any disrespect. I love your videos! Not so much the Bigfoot stuff, but all of the Survival content is Awesome. U were the first real one!
Would you rather wear a 1700’s poet shirt ( puffy pirate shirt / or look up Seinfeld episode for reference) for a year or wear skinny jeans for a month ?
Nice to see Hollywood bringing in THE quintessential expert on survival, from Canada! Awesome! Plane looks like a thrill ride!

How interesting wouldn't want to come across that
An adventure of a different sort…. What fun! Thanks, Les!
Hi Les, you are such a great man.
I love all your episodes of survivorman they're so informative and entertaining. Please keep it up man. Cheers from a Swedish outdoor enthusiast 😁
i really liked plane solid 9/10
I saw plane, new York and survivor and my first thought was, "it's not September, why is there a new docu in my subs?"
0:24 - no Les, I think you'd fit right in 😂
Hi gerry iv never said this before my emotions today want to say my breath want to say I think think I falling for you maybe
Must have been fun Les
*Les, I’m sure all of us would love to see you make a video regarding Urban 🏙️ Survival ⛺️.* When the freaks 🐀 come out at night 🌃.
I find it kinda weird seeing you in a social environment… so used to seeing watching you solo all the time in Survivorman
I’m also really happy they brought you out there a real survival expert rather than. I won’t even say his name.😂
I loved Plane, its action packed from beginning til the end. What sucked was on Prime it was $19.95 to RENT..while other new movies that SUCK are only $5.99 to rent.😮
I've seen the movie. It's pretty great. Like an 80's action movie with less cheese and better production value.
80s movie are great because they don't take themselves too serious.
Wow, can't believe you were in my city!! I'm known to be somewhat of a prepper by my peers, friends and collegues.. and hitting on your first sentence regarding central park...

Les, is there any chance my 15 yr old son and I could meet you, we're only a 40 minute drive. Opportunity of a lifetime!
I love Gerry, but seriously...he needs to spend more time getting schooled by you ❤
Make it in nyc for 24h without any money. I bet people would watch.
Urban Survivorman? Sounds like a concept for a new show
So glad (and, I hope I'm right) that he's stopped being influenced by Big Foot weirdos, and gone back to doing what he's done brilliantly for decades.
Les is one of those bigfoot weirdos dummy.
"Big Foot weirdos" ... sure, wouldn't want any of those pesky facts & personal experiences influence you...rather go live in ignorance & bliss.

Gerry you hate being wrong wow
Jungle
Water
Well ok

Nice one. I thought Gerard Butler doesn't make jokes or laugh.
Les you WAS in a jungle , there . The steel jungle . Or what I call , " the RAT race . "
These two actors do not mesh
You hate being wrong
So funny, ifffff I had two celebrity crushes, Les Stroud and Gerard Butler actually happen to be my two. My fate brought you together, lol. Don't tell my husband.😂
Neither
Does this bum anyone else out?
But yet he had absolutely nothing to do with the film. As in, he had Zero input.
absolutely correct - and I never said I did
@Survivorman - Les Stroud Ohh man, it's an honor to get a reply! I didn't mean any disrespect. I love your videos! Not so much the Bigfoot stuff, but all of the Survival content is Awesome. U were the first real one!
@@RVmotoTravel no worries - just keeping it real .........:-)
@Survivorman - Les Stroud Hell yeah man!
Ok seems a lot of hanging about that must be boring
None thanks
I was born with no coex

Either way you’re losing your man-card
