Prices are so cheap that you can afford to pay the asking price and help the small farmer make a fair profit from the inexpensive goods that they sell.
Sean there is no law in US that prohibits farmers selling their products directly in markets like these without interference from big corporations, so why this model is not applied in US. I think in small cities in US farmers do sell their products directly to customers in markets like these. Isn't this market same as flea markets in US. What is the difference. I think it is the convenience of shopping under one roof which drives the US customers to go to big stores like Walmart etc.
