Don't understand why you removed the feed pipe through the rubber seal? These injectors are designed to be removed complete as the seal simply slides along the feed pipe. I have 2 of the original injector removal tools, we still use the major my dad bought new in '55. It is fitted with a 20 ton Boughton winch for the woods.
Hello Sir. You would'nt happen to know the thread on the fitting which is between the leak off pipe and the cylinder head? Lost mine after picking up the cylinder head from machining.

Can the head be pulled without removing feed pipe or injectors?

Would have been more useful to actually show the freeing up of the injector.
