Wow. Until we moved to Switzerland 8 years ago, we used to go there at least once or twice per year. I was really surprised to see snow cannons above 2500m. I know last year was a hot year, but scenes like these we didn't use to see until at least mid-April. Some lifts were upgraded, but the pistes haven't changed much. Still our favorite ski area, if only we would be able to get there within 4 hours of travel and own our own family apartment. The resort is getting dominated by luxury hotel chains and high-end chalets.
I have faith that this coming season will be superb. It did get a bit warm last season but early and end of season were great. Portes du Soleil is on my list so back there quite soon...
The bumps are easier to get through when they are like mashed potatoes. The traffic wasn't terribly heavy, although I thought a couple of them were almost aiming for your fall line.
Yes, can get a little tricky when some cuts right in front...I'm usually a little more cautious under those conditions...
What camera are you using for these? Is it a go pro?
Yes, GoPro Hero11. Depends on the video but all details are in the description...
