True narcissism can be spotted in ones eyes, when a person is experiencing rage. The look is one of a pure animal/predator. I was just in a covert narcissist relationship. She was constantly talking down to me and my kids and calling us names. I caught her texting other guys three times with explicit messages... Blamed me for being insecure and blamed me for being "nosey". I literally ghosted her. I saw her new thing the other day... Overweight, wearing jersey shorts, no shirt, nappy hair. I stopped my truck, gave her a thumbs up and said " nice upgrade".

Good way to put it. Real narcissism is off charts and still a taboo topic, even with all the discussions in the social media about it. BB did a fair job referencing to it, but it came accross like something you now know and can therefore avoid.
Women are inherently solipsistic from an evolutionary standpoint (think about the need for a woman to prioritize her own needs when pregnant). Thing is, solipsism lays the groundwork for narcissism and modern culture pushes many/most of them off the edge.

All the signs are there- lack of empathy, entitlement, gaslighting, vanity, manipulation, lack of true self esteem, a desire to control others, a tendency to neglect significant others, denial of mistakes, blaming others, selfishness, a disregard for rules, etc. And sadly, this disorder has a VERY low cure rate because part of it is denial.

My Dad was a psychologist - he would have been appalled by social media. He always maintained that narcissistic personality disorder was the worst personality trait of all.

I taught my daughter the same way. When she was a teenager, and went to the movies with her friends, I said I would pick them up at the mall at a given time. They were good the first few times, but one time I waited 15 or 20 minutes for them, then left. They never left me hanging again.

Happened to me back in my college days, I fell for the quiet nice girl. Turned into the biggest headache ever. She ended up mentally breaking me down to the point of being anorexic. Then she started cheating on me and saying it was all in my head. In the end I told her this guy will get what he wants out of you and leave you. Exactly what happened. Got her pregnant and left her.
I went to a much better relationship with someone completely different and it actually shocked me as I almost started thinking that previous behaviour was normal. Been with her for 13 years now and we have a home and child on the way 👍🏻.

If it were in the 90's and someone took a throw-away-camera to Walgreens to get the film developed and the camera film had nothing but lonely selfies, the people working for Walgreens would think that person taking those selfies needs to be admitted to a mental hospital for help. I grew up and graduated High School back in the 90's and you would've been teased, made fun of and been the butt of all jokes for not having "any friends" if people in town got down wind you took that many selfies on a throw-away-camera with nobody but you smiling in the photos. People back in the 90's I grew up around would've told you to get a life & get some friends.
It's hard to believe we as a society have gotten to a place in time where this type of narcissistic behavior is acceptable and nothing is wrong with it.
In 2006 I dated a woman who was ALWAYS in crisis. If there wasn't anything going on in the here and now she'd dredge up something from years or even decades ago. It was a good learning lesson as I learned what I wanted was a girlfriend not a project.

I met the princess type before. She actually has eastern-european parents and when she was told to do the dishes she did so with obedience. However, she went on living in a different city studying in order to become a teacher. Just a few years in that environment had corrupted her this badly that she unironically declined my invitation to my new apartment as she didn't feel like helping me build furniture. She only deserves to enter fully completed apartments she said...
So, even if you have both parents present as well as a traditional parenting style things can go south very quickly if unchecked.

I think the number one thing I see in California where I live is that people, in general, are lacking morals and values that are necessary for people to form healthy and functional relationships. Today, we have more broken families than ever, where there is no father and no emphasis on teaching traditional morals and values that emphasize honesty and hard work. The lack of proper upbringing then makes women and men more susceptible to ideas that are self-destructive. Being attracted to a woman that is narcissistic is a self-destructive behavior in and of itself.

My ex-girlfriend asked me if I thought she was a narcissist. This was another kind of loaded question that women like to test men with, it seems. I told her very plainly that she was a covert narcissist and then proceeded to cite the reasons why. She was not expecting my reaction, but hers was very predictable. Some women think you should just appease them. Seriously girls, don't ask questions you don't want to hear the answers to. We. Are. Done.

@@Gregor_1980 yup. I’ve dated two girls diagnosed with BPD and probably a third. You don’t see it coming until your months into dating and hooked. By the time you do find out, you’ll feel bad for leaving her because all BPDs fear being abandoned and you don’t want to prove them right. My only advice is that if she’s in love with you after 2 or 3 dates, run for the hills. It may seem amazing, it may seem perfect, it may seem like “finally someone who appreciates me.” She doesn’t, she’s bored and lonely and will destroy your life lol.

My former career was in psychotherapy research. I used to do all the statistics for a walk-in clinic that served thousands of mental health outpatients. While men are stereotyped to be the narcissists, I can assure you that the stats show Cluster B to be the female's specialty.

And there is your gut, very soon, you will feel anxiety, even during the love-bombing phase. It means that you instinct knows something is not right. If you don't ignore all that, you can avoid being emotionally involved the narc will see it anyway (that heir strategies are not working on you as expected) and disengage... I'm amazed when I look at the Facebook posts of my young female friends and relatives. By young I mean women who are in their late teens to mid-30's. It is shocking to see how many selfies they post of themselves doing things of no interest. Here I am standing in front of a mirror making a duck face. Here I am standing in front of my car making a pouty face. Here I am standing in a parking lot. Here I am standing next to a wall. Here I am standing next to a tree. Here I am ... That screams vacuous vanity and narcissism and would scare the hell out of me if I was looking to date them. None of them ever do anything for anybody else and not a one of them volunteers for anything. It's the ME generation on steroids and they'd make terrible girlfriends, wives or partners.

I have never heard of a business, group, school, college or organization that is predominately made up of minorities deciding that their group would be better if they had more heterosexual, white men because "diversity is our strength". I quit em long time ago, and when asked why I don't have them anymore. I say I don't need the constant validation, and then enjoy the silence.
Covert are the ones to be worried about. They hook you in with the love bombs and working your sympathy by fishing for compliments and creating co- dependence by always needing you for something. At first it will feel great but soon all that praise and appreciation goes away (as well as the bedroom fun) and your left with nothing more than a list of chores which you'll never complete to her standards. It's a bad cycle but very easy to fall into. You tend to wake up a year into one of these things, possibly have a kid or 2 (maybe just attachment to her kids), and can't figure out when things got so bad when you've stayed more or less the same.

These countries are 20 to 50 years behind in tech and values, you can easily find women with values of the 50s. You will need more effort like learning a new language, for some people is easier than working out to become one of the top 10% of men and try yout luck choosing a needle on the needle sack. Also your money value on those countries is like 5 times more. You can live 20 years there for the same money you spend to live in a major city like NY. If you live on the US, the only area with tons of amish I think is Utah.

Honesly i've found your videos this past week, i realized when you were talking about your ex and how you didn't know until after, and i found out that i have BPD after the therapy i needed. i was dragged through the relationship , my work life destroyed (she was cheating on me with 2 of my co workers) and i couldn't even show up anymore. EVERYTHING was about her, by the end of the relationship she'd pulled me from my family and friends and we split right after the covid hit canada real bad around march 2020. (p.s through people that genuinely did care about me through my life still did stay and i'm doing better now than i have been, both mentally and physically. Wanna say thanks for the awesome content

Then proceeds to date the only guy friend I was always worried about. Who later harassed me via school email and was literally “begging for forgiveness.”
Avoid BPD. Or literally anyone who lovebombs at first. They are lying and will ruin your life and sanity.
@@REY2000 8 year bpd stayed because of my son took me around 2.5 years to recover that was a major traumatic experience. That being said now things are fine and in that time recovered I got a new house truck paid off motorcycle and paid off car. Meanwhile she drives busted vehicles have 50/50 custody of my son while things are not perfect at least now life is peaceful.

I finally realized they need counseling. All but one is in counseling. That one still can’t seem to join a normal life. Interesting fact, this child is the only one that has a relationship with the mother. I have never once told them not to have a relationship. I became “ in different two years after the divorce. I'll give my personal experience that happened just recently. Started little before last weekend. I was friends with a female coworker. (Didn't have her phone number or contact her after work) me and her became friends when we started working there at the same time. 4 months so far. But out of no where last Monday she completely ignored me and I asked what was wrong and she didn't respond and I asked again on Thursday she would stonewall me. Friday came around and my supervisor asked me if I needed to review the harassment policy about keeping my hands to myself. (I haven't been physical with her) from her being super happy and talkative to reporting me for harassment. My super said it was off record but if it comes up again they'll do something about it. I told him that I'll ignore her if she tries baiting me into conversations and I'll be looking for a job on the other side of the factory. So you can't even be friends with them either lol also I have about 5 or so guy friends of mine to keep an eye out in the mean time to call her on her BS. Plus a 40 some year old woman who was just as shocked as I was. So we'll see what happens

Come to find out she met a bad boy they eventually got married had kids now he is very mean to her and cheats on her.. A friend of mine told me she wasn’t happy with him.. So I ran into her in public around Christmas time.. She asked me how are you what are you doing with yourself??? I’m shocked 😳 out of my mind like are you kidding me?? I just ignored her and acted like she didn’t exist!!

Yeah I got trapped in a “covert narcissistic” marriage(she was hot & knew it)) she knew the feminine/shy/ quiet personality that men liked & she played it PERFECTLY for 4 years! I broke up with her before we married because I saw an issue that was going to be a pattern, but she was very clever and I was 25, I was self aware but not as aware of others as I am now.The marriage lasted 18 months and after she shredded my reputation but ruined her life 10 times over…..but the millions of details are stuck in my head and I see them in 99% of girls / women these days.
