This is such a good demonstration of why people should watch more than one creator! Most products are not inherently "good" or inherently "bad" -- we all have different wants and needs, and all the reasons one person hates something is all the reasons someone else might love it! I've really enjoyed seeing creators circulating products they didn't like to other creators until they find a home where they're loved 😂 I've happened upon some killer products that way! I agree, I am 31 with bone dry skin that needs a million layers of hydrating skincare to just feel normal, and I live in UK where it is very cold and dry. I noticed that when to Japan in summer where it was hot and humid, the products I normally use in UK were too heavy. I do like the ND concealer, although I don’t have any fine lines so creasing isn’t really an issue for me in general
When I was in Guilin, China, my skin all over my body was GLOWING. My legs usually perpetually look so scaly and horrid but they were smooth and shiny 😅 I miss that so much back here in the winter now. Back to being permanently shriveled

I have dry skin so I purchased it thinking it was what it said “a pore blurring primer” and it did nothing for my pores. I don’t like the products with the puffy thing on the top. They get so messy if you don’t lock them. So I ripped all mine off and just put whatever product on the back of my hand. I love the Bare Minerals blush/highlighter toppers especially in peach glow! It’s so pretty! I agree the Makeup by Mario Moisture Glow plumping lip color is a terrible product. It’s so so slimy/watery and it gets everywhere! Over the years you have made me fall in love with orange toned blushes and lip gloss’s! This was a fun video! I’m excited for you to do the opposite video!! Have so much FUN with Samantha!! I live in very cold, humid climate and most of the TH-cam influencers/ product reviewers live in sunny California, so I find that oftentimes, my experience with foundations, cream products, and skincare products especially is very different from theirs.
I like how you explain the why behind your opinions on products instead of a blanket statement of you like it or don't. I also appreciate when you say who things may be more suited for. I am a little surprised about the Makeup by Mario lippie. I actually liked those, I had bought 4 of the colors in the mini size (the 2 lightest sets). Maybe it does come down to expectation. I didn't really have any, and got mini size because it takes me forever to finish any lippie. Wear time was okay. I still had to do 2 or 3 touch-ups; that's how most brands are for me for any lip products, including Sigma lip oils. I only got rid of 1 Makeup by Mario (rose glow) because it was too dark for me.
I’ve finally gotten to the point where I don’t just buy what is popular anymore because it doesn’t all work for me! And some things that are super underrated are my favs! Urban Decay Naked Concealer (no one talks about this), MAC mineral blushes, Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation, Lunar Beauty loose powder, Bobbi Brown or LYS powder bronzer, Dominque Cosmetics eyeshadows!
I really like those kind of shades but I have rosacea and they bring up all the redness in my face. Not not mention that they look like faded bruises on me and they emphasize my dark cicles. So I have to prep a lot and colour correct my face as if there wasn't a tomorow in order to make them look good on me. It's a lot of work. And I'm not willing to pay ND prices for something I'm only going to use sporadically for that reason. But the palette on itself is beautiful. Just not for me.
I often find myself disliking a lot of the "viral" products lately from elf and I always feel like there is something wrong with me 🤣 It's so crazy how makeup works different for everyone. I do like a lot of the products you mentioned in this video though! Except that Huda pressed powder.. yikes! Hated it 😆
I actually adore the blur drops from glow recipe but have normal to dry skin and it's my favorite matte primer. Makeup lasts all day and I love it. I know a lot of people who didn't love it have sensitive skin as well so maybe that's why my skin agreed with it more. It's so interesting to see all my favorite TH-camrs and how opinions on product differ. I thought for sure the Glamlite Garfield blush palette would have made the list. When ever single influencer that I watch tried it, they all went in too heavy and ended up with a super bright cheek. This is what convinced me to buy it. I love it. And it is one of my favorites. On my skin tone, orange can be diffeicult to get to show up. And the Garfield palette looks like a natural color on me. The highlighter in that palette was too sparkly to wear on the cheek, so I use it as eyeshadow. But, I can see how this might not work out for someone who has a different skin tone.
I have skin like yours plus 19 years. I’m in San Antonio so similar climate. Thick concealers are not my friend. Neither is powder under the eyes. I just recently purchased the Yucca palette and am excited to try it out. I appreciate seeing differing opinions and love your content. ❤

Have you tried the winky lux peeper perfect concealer? It is very interesting because it is creamier and feels kind of like an eye cream which usually would crease horribly on my under eyes. Somehow it doesn't crease and has a really beautiful finish because a tiny bit goes a long way. The only issue is there aren't a ton of shades.
I love Natasha Denona Yucca. I wasn’t surprised because ND Gold is one of my other favorite palettes. I have an olive skin tone and these tones definitely compliment me.
Okay, I have to agree with Steph on that foundation. It doesn't look right on my skin, and I find that it emphasizes all the textured areas of my face. I'm glad it works for you though. 😇

The Glow Recipe Primer did not work for me, and I am combo/oily. Different chemistry skin wise and that’s why I think it works for some people and not for others. I love your videos. You speak better English than some people I know and they were born here.

Maybe I am wrong, but it is so interesting, that 4 of the colours from Yucca palette (calathea, citrine, camu camu and fushi) look a lot like shades from Triochrome palette. It is so funny that you used almost all of those in today's look. I was hoping you would mention that as you were one of the few who didn't hate Triochrome pallete and own both of them😁

If I remember correctly. Kelly Gooch didn't like the Glow Recipe BHA Blur Drops because it irritated her sensitive skin.

Maybe I am wrong, but it is so interesting, that 4 of the colours from Yucca palette (calathea, citrine, camu camu and fushi) look a lot like shades from Triochrome palette. It is so funny that you used almost all of those in today's look. I was hoping you would mention that as you were one of the few who didn't hate Triochrome pallete and own both of them😁

Omg im oily/combo in a humid climate, but the glow recipe strawberry product sucks as a primer and does nothing for my pores. It's great as skincare, though, lol
My skin started getting oily a few years ago and now I have visible pores. I've really had to adjust my products and techniques. I hate it 😩
