It has to be pointed out that this election had the lowest turn out ever. That being said, white people collectively had the mandate to take the ANC out and make sure the EFF doesn't come in, and the DA (which has always been number 2) was their go to. Black voters on the other hand understood that the ANC had to go, but we split our votes across +20 black parties, instead of voting for one. My people are not in love with the EFF primarily because of their open border policy. Black parties not uniting, is how the DA ended up on top
