Podcast and chill needs to have this kind of a segment every 3 months to give the chillers a review of South Africas current standing in politics, economical standing, arts and culture etc

Ntate Jan Morgan Moganwa was right this is a man who understands the dynamics of South Africa!! Speaking as a man from KZN

Jan Moganwa is the smartest person on the table his understanding of South African politics, economics and society is unmatched. I mean this man was a CEO of old mutual, he was an executive at absa, standard bank, telkom and many big companies but his the one who speaks for the poor in a table where the is no one richer than him for zamas the guy with the cap to think he can debate Jan on economics with his micro understanding of economics was frustrating for me. Eugene didn't belong on this table his clueless on political issues. We needed a sizwe mphofu Welsh of SMWX to balance views. We could have got more from this discussion.

I'm disappointed in chillers days2 and only 53 likes... we need to get woke guyz ngeke.
Eugene should have chaired, yes he seemed not that knowledgeable but he is strong opinionated with a good moral compass, Sol was too quite kanti we know he would have destroyed plus Jan Moganwa and Sizwe that would have been something else... way above the scope then Podcast's contents but extremely informative to the everyday chiller

Black middle class is lost. These two, zimasa and Eugene, leaning towards white, they make noise, and are not telling full truth. Guys white need nothing, the first problem is with black people. Talk growth, economy jobs, but if dey can't close gap between black and white, problem will remain

I AGREE. ALL THESE GUYS ARE TALKING FROM A POINT OF PREVILEGE. HE IS THE ONLY 1 THAT IS SPEAKING FROM THE WORKING CLASS POINT OF VIEW. THE ECONOMY CAN GROW BUT NOT FOR EVERY1. OUR SALARIES ARE INCREASING AT A VERY LOW RATE EVEN WHN THE ECONOMY IS GOING THROUGH AN UPSWING.

To add on what the guy in the cap is saying about taxes and spending (When the businesses are failing they tend to increase prices for their goods and services to try and stay afloat to also afford high interests rates and rent'), SA doesn't do deflation. High prices remain even when the interest rates go down (fuel, mortgage and some' do go down). Imported goods tend to be cheaper that local products which is what kills our exportation.

Zimasa and Eugene have lost the plot, just speaking from a point of privilege. The white guy speaks from a point of view of a white person, the guy with white hair is on point. He understands politics and economics, the ANC never wanted to talk with the EFF and MK. DA said they won't work with both parties, so ANC aligning with the DA knew there is no chance of them adding the EFF and MK into that coalition. This GNU or Grand Coalition is only going to benefit big business and mostly rich people. The middle class will suffer while the poor will remain poor, capitalism is always aboit profits and never about maling the lives of the workers better.

Big ups...to Sol for letting this be a conversation. However how does this country overturn the status quo without willing citizens?
The mandate of the new government should be to build towards citizen(not class) that is willing to work, there after build jobs.
Otherwise jobs will be createn and thereafter no one to work.

True you can tell that this conversation is coming from people In The middle class and not really from a person who is poor and actually suffering , that time the majority of black South Africans are poor in this country ....Their voice was not represented in this conversation & that's the problem.......People keep ignoring the poor people in this country and at some point they will revolt and eat everybody up (middle class and the rich)

I would've liked the panelist to research the notion of the State of Capture. We must also again check the submissions made at that Commission of State Capture.
Also, we need to revisit the founding policies of the ANC and its alliance partners. Why was the ANC formed, and if it managed to reach it, objective.
