I live in Playa del Carmen, Mexico which is near Cancun but I sometimes go to concerts in Miami or Fort Lauderdale. This time I was in Fort Lauderdale for Iron Maidens concert and they play this song. The guy next to me was crying at the end of the song. He told me it was his first time in Maiden concert and that he basically waited 20 years to be there at that moment. I had to give him a guys hug. The performance that day was phenomenal

I saw Bruce and the fellas last February, 2023 in San Diego... They were superlative. I missed them in the 80s, oddly enough. Live, Bruce is just like Rob Halford -- crazy good! I like to listen to their yoga hits instrumentals. Ever seen/heard Tommy Johansson, Phantom of the Opera?
Love the dark. The noises, be they audio, visual, or other sensory-aligned sources, are less, and lower in volume... enabling the details and differences to stand out and be noticed. There is less chaos at night. You hold people tighter, gather closer, and focus more on those who are important.
It cracks me up how the guys in the band turn into human pogo-sticks during the chug of the chorus. Impressive energy levels for a bunch of old geezers, lol. "Maiden" England, but tempered in metal.
Iron Maiden was built on British rock and progressive rock influences that made them unique in many ways... 'Fear of the dark' was one of Steve Harris (bass) typical compositions where time changes and guitar harmonies are prevalent... The reason Steve Harris formed Iron Maiden in 1975 was because he was writing songs that other bands he had played in found complicated to play... With Iron Maiden, he could assume the role of band leader and hire musicians who could bring his original songs to life. Harris loved British rock bands like Thin Lizzy, U.F.O, Bad Company... but he also loved the technical music of progressive bands like Yes... Genesis ... King Crimson... and that was what inspired him to write those early Maiden songs like - 'Phantom of the Opera' ... 'Remember tomorrow' ... 'Innocent exile'... 'Wrathchild'... etc. Iron Maiden in their early days had a raw delivery unlike the one u see live today... It was Steve Harris and Dave Murray (guitar) who were the nucleus of the band... Iron Maiden is very well balanced musicians with all these strong numerous melodies, strong numerous emotions, beauty, power, vigor, energy, transitions, moderate heaviness, drama, versatility and dynamics all together at least mostly! Yeah I fucking love iron maiden I mean how can you not if you don’t then you have no fucking soul because they are one of the greatest bands ever. Also there’s a lot of other great bands too that you really need to get too. Honestly I think you should check out a band that I have been listening to nonstop this was a heavy metal band that came out in the 80s and they’re pretty fucking underrated and they really know how to write really cool bangers. This band is called metal church and I think you should start off by reacting to the first track on their debut album metal Church from 1984 beyond the Black what a great song opener and what a great fucking heavy metal banger. Please just do me a favor and check it out you will not be disappointed and then check out their self titled song metal Church. This band is called metal church and I think you should start off by reacting to the first track on their debut album metal Church from 1984 beyond the Black what a great song opener and what a great fucking heavy metal banger. Please just do me a favor and check it out you will not be disappointed and then check out their self titled song metal Church. And all and all I think you should really check out their debut album there is not one bad song on that album it is just a flawless album.
