      Hi Claudia: I think it depends on your skin sensitivity. The tarnish resistant copper has a thin layer of plastic to protect it which may wear off when wearing often as a ring. If in doubt you can use sterling or Argentium silver wire. Good luck.

    Question, is your wire sterling silver? Or does it turn green over time?

    • @HeatherBoydWire
      @HeatherBoydWire  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I often use Artistic tarnish resistant wire by Beadalon. You can use sterling wire or I also use Argentium silver wire.

    Length of wire?

    • @HeatherBoydWire
      @HeatherBoydWire  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the size of the ring and moon. You can cut an 8-10 inch piece of 20 g wire.

      I use Artistic wire non tarnish copper by Beadalon and sometimes craft wire from Michaels for my samples.

    does the craft wire turn your finger to green over time?

    • @HeatherBoydWire

      It depends on the wire and how sensitive your skin is. you can use the tarnish resistant Artistic copper wire or silver wire if you have sensitive skin.
