Dealing with Fear with Robert Greene and Barry Kibrick

  • When Robert wrote “The 48 Laws of Power” he had no idea it would become a classic and have an affect on some of the most powerful leaders in society. But he was truly shocked when hip-hop artist 50 Cent credited Robert’s book for helping him with his success.
    In fact, 50 Cent was so moved by Robert’s writing he wanted to collaborate with him. The result is their book “The 50th Law,” an insightful look at fear and what we must do to set free the power within ourselves.

    the number 1 fear is fear of missing out, the new era of fear. which i think we need to look inside within the heart and say we are contented, we have enough.

    There are times when I am in about to be in a uncomfortable situation and if I consciously catch myself I say to myself that I am afraid. By saying I am afraid,and meaning it I some how ground my fear. It's almost like the fear scatters away and it leaves me more humble.

    I have read three of his book and I think I must now give 50th law a try. By the way can yall tell which seducer type do you relate with? I love knowing it from people and discussing about it.

      How would you know??

    • @ForageGardener
      @ForageGardener ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @losmit2194 how would you know what kind of seducer one is? Read about the different archetypes and be honest with yourself about which one you feel is like you.
      I for one happen to be primarily a bit Rakish but I have a tendency towards Coquette behavior secondarily as well as Charmer and Natural, but those are more superficial and intentional for me whereas I naturally behave rakish.
      Ideally one can learn to comprehend all of these styles and tantalize the subjects of seduction

    • @losmit2194
      @losmit2194 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ForageGardener yeah I watched him explain and I'm a mixture but more Rake then coquette then charmer

    • @ForageGardener
      @ForageGardener 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @losmit2194 makes sense. I get the impression that the Rake and the Siren are kind of the default for most men and women respectively but then people diverge from there.
      Fascinating stuff really!

    I just heard on NPR someone who sounded like you to me. Johnny Knoxville. and I want to say Hi, while I can. Thinking of you as I live my 82nd year in peace here at home in Ogden, Utah. I want to catch up on your you tube posts. I love the way you think. I wish I had discovered you while you were still on Between the Lines. Perhaps I wasn't ready to hear and find those posts meaningful to me at that time. Have you talked with Rich Roll?. Another poster who interests me. I hope you are well and enjoying your life. 8-19-2023

    Where does family fit in the career pursuit? Can we rely on other people? Do people really live that "grind" homo economicus mindset? Is it more important to rely on other people tnah to have and individualistic pursuit of self hapiness? Understand people or compete against them?

    • @BarryKibrickOfficial
      @BarryKibrickOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

    What is a fearless person ? An aggressive one or calm

    • @BarryKibrickOfficial
      @BarryKibrickOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No such thing as a fearless person. All we can achieve is to fear less.
