Thank you Martin, I only heard about their duo because Jimi Hendrix did a cover of their track 'Tax Free' and I think they also played together on stage a few time ! Love that Hammond organ🔥!!! And that drumming🔥!!!
Yes Karlsson, the drummer, played with Hendrix at least once. I saw this duo (without the drummer which was dead then) Hans Appelqvist and Existensminimum (you can see Rorys reacts to one of their songs here: th-cam.com/video/TKaLLdJJe1w/w-d-xo.html) at the same festival in a suburb in Stockholm in 2008(?). I dont think it can get better than that, EVER! I also used their music, asking permission off course, in my experimental videos. Hans and I and some contact he even asked if he would write new music to one of my shorts, but I dident have money for that so only paid to use his already existing songs. A really interesting guy.
@@martinroland I watched your videos for idiots, I like it a lot, not only the absurd and funny side but the questioning they impose on us, in a subtle way, of course! it would be great with music !
@@lepetitoiseau The next 3 "Low budget shorts" will be longer and accompanied by music. One of the even partly take place in Paris! They are a bit more elaborate. And Thanks for checking in my stuff
@@martinroland You talk to one of your subscribers,no thank you, it's not a one-way street!😉 And besides you will see me in the comments section, do you agree?
The double ss in sson indicate Sweden! It was a duo existing only a few years in the end of the 60s improvising on clubs in Stockholm. Janne Carlsson on drums and Bosse Hansson on organ. Several times with Jimi Hendrix in the audience or jamming with them. Hansson made several solo albums with "Lord of the ring" as a theme (Tolkien was still only books!). Check "The black riders and flight to the Ford"/"De svarta ryttarna". He was also associated with the great band "Flasket brinner" Carlsson played the drums on Pugh Rogefeldt's first album "Ja dä ä dä". With the Beatles tradition all Swedish rock bands sang in English. This was the first album (1969) with lyrics in Swedish. Check "Love, love, love"! Later Carlsson became a comedy actor and is mostly known as such in Sweden.

Thanks for putting some info behind my request. Sparar mig lite tid!
I immediately heard the jazz and drummer is right in the pocket then the organ added a lot of flare....it brings you back to a smokey bar vibe....
Love the organ and drums very jazzy!! 🔥 Awesome reaction Rory and thank you Martin for your awesome request!! 😊💓🤘✌️
The drummer played with Hendrix at least on one occasion! But the duo here is just so much fun too listen to. Glad that you liked my request!
