Wow thank you for the great support! The video is going through the roof. Please tell me more recommendations for swedish comedy, I just love it. Sadly many of the recommendations have no subtitles, but there is a way, I could reupload them on a private channel and let you edit in Subtitles if you want, just write me on Insta or Discord If you want to do that and which video I should reupload there. Thanks for your support 😊❤

His live sketch/performance at Skansen I don't know what year but early 2000s.
      Fred Asp & Illern Göran
Was apparently voted in Aftonbladet (a large Swedish newspaper) as the best comedy sketch that decade. And it is absolutely an iconic performance.
the clip is not subtitled. I can do it for you but I don't know how to translate and put text on youtube since they changed it.

This is an early sketch from the LEGENDS called Killinggänget. They started these sketches in front of live audiences at their shows "i manegen med Glenn Killing" (Glenn Killing being Henrik Schyfferts "host show" character)
This show was the big break for Robert Gustafsson, Henrik Schyffert, Johan Rehborg and Jonas Inde.
Personally I think their next projects "Nile City 105.6" and "Percy Tårar" are the best. With film sketches based around Percy Nilegårds money businesses, like his indie radio channel NileCity. So many iconic sketches in those shows!
They later made 4 movies, where "torsk på Tallinn" was the most successful. It's about Percy Nilegård trying to make money by arranging a cheap road trip by bus to Tallin, where single men would date Estonian women to marry.
A reaction to Any of these three shows would be great! This comedy group really shaped Swedish ironic humor since the 90's.

Both Robert Gustafsson and Henrik Schyffert were/are a part of the Swedish comedy group Killinggänget. They were huge from like the 1990s and made several comedy shows on both TV and stage. Glenn Killing i Manegen, Nilecity, Torsk på Tallinn and so on. Henrik is also a stand up comedian.

They wrote it because they thought it was so absurd and nobody would be voting for fascist parties today given that we know what happens when we give them power. But after seeing fascists and authoritarians gaining more and more popularity in recent times, the joke isn't really even a joke anymore because it has become reality.

Well, we know why the Germans became like that in the 30s, losing the war in 1918 really set back Germany economically, and despite the vast amount of Jews in the army back then, a lot of the German Generals, were a bit too influential, and thus over the years a lot of the Jews lost us the war propaganda was spread, and people bought it. Including an Austrian Catholic Vegetarian Painter, who was recommended the Iron Cross for valiant efforts during first world war, by his Jewish commander. Yes, we all know who that German Socialist was. And you guessed it, the rest is history, not that any other part of the comment wasn't history...

Henrik Schyffert is a pure grifter who rode the coattiails of Robert Gustafsson, Johan Rheborg, Martin Luuk, Andres Lokko and Jonas Inde. He played the "straight man" to these other guys and has on many occasions attributed his fame to them. Overall he has very little comedic talent and most of the humor comes from him reacting "normally" to Robert's wackiness. He'd never would be able to as famous as he is if it wasn't for the brilliance of the others in Killinggänget

Yeah, the thing about Nazis is they don't say what they mean until they've managed to weasel themselves into a position where they can get away with it. I mean, they changed their name to "national socialist German worker party" specifically to scam people into thinking they were a socialist worker party, only to then burn socialist books and kill socialists. Sverigedemokraterna similarly aren't remotely democratic in their actual intentions, but they put it in their name for marketing purposes, and they manipulate the uninformed into thinking people accusing them of having bad intentions are just talking nonsense. The journalists, the anarchists, the "woke", whoever speaks up and criticizes the cryptofascists will be labeled either a liar or unhinged, and the uninformed will see whatever the Nazis want them to see, and they will vote for the Nazis because from the perspective they've been manipulated into, they seem like the only ones who aren't liars or unhinged. It's all about exploiting the flaws in representative democracy until there's no democracy left.
This sketch is somewhat reductive in how it portrays the Nazis as completely open about their intentions.

  • @truxton1000

Well it’s a valid question, why would anyone vote for someone extreme? The answer is that what people regard as extreme is different. For example now in the UK we have a party called Reform, the established politicians would call them extreme, because they stand for something different from all the other parties. But what is actually extreme? Is it to allow almost unlimited immigration in to the country, to create a society that we really don’t know what it will become? Or is it to try to keep it like it was before? I think the answer to that is obvious.
