2020 was the worst me and my whole family got Covid And my dad suffered the worse he had to be intubated and he lasted almost two months plus he had to be in a rehabilitation center for a month to regain his strength I remember when he got home it was so awesome to be back to normal or so I thought Covid damaged my dads liver and kidneys And last October he had a Liver & Kidney transplant and he came out with a 3rd chance at life because without the transplant doctors said he probably had 3months to live so far he is on his 5th month post Transplant And he's doing great

My mental health was definitely impacted by the pandemic, mostly because I really started to understand how divided the US has been throughout my entire life. Seeing that we couldn't even unite against a virus like COVID made me start to wonder if it was worth living in a world like this. Fortunately it seems like we've finally gotten past the worst of the pandemic. Sure there will likely be new variants and future surges, but with the tools and resources we now have, they won't be as serious as before

Maybe it’s just me but I feel the segment could’ve been edited better… especially in the transitional bit of the report, going from Covid to self-harm. The subject isn’t confusing, it’s really just the way the piece was put together. Quite unfortunate for the people who were featured… their stories deserved more clarity, imho.
