Militracks is unique in the world, why ? Here impressive German technology from the 2nd World War is shown in action. Highlights are not only that the vehicles move but that you as a spectator also have the opportunity to ride on the vehicles.
The Dutch Oorlogsmuseum in Overloon, just across the German border, offers a platform for this. Here you can indulge yourself around the museum of German technology. The museum itself is also open and offers a little relaxation from the engine noise and the exhaust clouds 😊
The highlights in 2023 include an entry in the Guinness Book of Records with the highest number of Kettenkrads in action.
Then a new Tiger I was presented, which comes from the Hoebig collection and, like another tiger before it, was also completed from parts from scrap yards and is not yet completely finished. This was later drawn as a show act by a total of 3 Famo's.
Of course we also experience the ride on the vehicles, a Stug III Ausf. G late in action, as well as Sd. vehicle 250, 251, etc.
The Nashorn is also ready for action again and can be seen in action.
Worth mentioning is the flea market with accessories for uniforms, vehicle parts and of course model making.
The catering should also be mentioned, just over the German border and yet a different world of pleasure, in addition to Frikandel, croquettes you will also find classics such as burgers and co.
An absolute must for model builders and military technology fans!
