Protecting Fall Veggies with Frost Blanket

Cold loving crops can give you a harvest well after the first frost, and using season extension tools, like frost blankets, can give you even more protection.
Frost blankets, or otherwise known as row cover, can give you up to 8 degrees F of protection, effectively allowing you to garden as if you were a whole zone warmer!! Different weights of row cover accomplish different objectives, and in the fall, we like to use the heavier version for the extra warming.
Fabrics specifically designed for this purpose, let plenty of light in, and even water can penetrate through.
