I’m not sure why, but the Jane Doe from the trailers and the Jane Doe in-game feel… fundamentally different from each other. (Oh, by the way, that can’t be her actual name. Jane Doe is a pseudonym for a woman with an unknown identity.)
It wasn’t out of sync the animation isn’t made with the dub in mind. They move the mouth flaps with actual intent in the animation so it can only really sync with one language. Japanese, Chinese, and English have different words so not everything is gonna match in cutscenes when it comes to the sub languages.
I wanted to love this arc but there are just so many amateurish mistakes done by the writer. They jumped over the operation part, then seth doing an illogical shonen talk to Jane as if he knows Jane is actually knows Jane is a good person when she never showed any hint of it, then the tone... When she dropped that guy, all things were serious but they again brought back the idiocy of the gang and made the scene stupid. And have the writers never even seen a real gang before? Jane would have been shot dead if she did her skit on a real gang boss. Oh well.. I think I just need to accept that the game I'm playing is made for kids and teens. By the end of the chapter, what I thought is that the only comics the writers have ever read were Deadpool comics. Btw, I can safely conclude that Seth is a simp for Jane. There's no other reason for him to see "goodness" on Jane. If it's Jane's aura and vibe, that's BS. Her femme fatale persona doesn't exude any of that. Seth is a simp.
I agree with the Jane talk on the building it's kinda cringe and the writing is a bit unpolished, though the game wasn't meant to be serious anyways, it's comedy action I suppose
You need to understand unrealism isn't amateurish writing. The reason for childish gang members and shonen seth is to match with the tone of zzz, A light hearten vibe. it doesnt need to be edgy, multidimensional characters and hitting too close to home with some realism element into it. To me, you seems to just cannot enjoy this type of genre.
The intention doesn’t seem to be to take it self seriously though. The game has a very lighthearted and silly tone. A prime example of this is shown with how they tried to market Qingyi in her promotional trailers with a bunch of old people teaming up with her and fighting as if they didn’t have the fragility of any normal elders.
Tom and jerry 🤨
FR😂
I can totally see that
In this case it's more like Jerry and Tom lmao
Was thinking Leon and Ada from Resident evil if Raccoon city wasn't overrun by zombies
Jane's voice sound like it was recorded on a lower quality mic.
There's a different low-pass filter on it or something, definitely sounds like a mixing issue. Probably an easy fix
you should listen to belle's and wise's voicelines, and infact i think most of the characters in zzz have that low quality voice in en
1:03 thank me later 👍

Okay, I just saw a video on it. She’s just pretending. The dialogue she has is actually pretty true to her character.
1:05 jiggle jiggle
3:48 what's the name of the ost???
this was so gas
If only this wasn't a gacha
gacha or not, its still peak.
The voices were out if sync for me in this scene.
Edit: when I meant out of sync I meant a delay of about 2 secs,
It's because the dub isn't doing an amazing job putting English voices over the original Chinese animation in cutscenes. It bothers me a little too

I don’t really mind about it as long as this game is fun, that’s all that matters. :>
@@Karma-pq9fi hoyo is Chinese. Japanese is also a dub
@@Pm_Echo251I agree. I mainly play genshin which doesn't even bother to sync the English with the lips. I've learned to accept it over time.

So Seth is a cat

Yeah, the writing is really generic, saved by the animation, waifus, and husbando characters.
