I thought Jane's role was to set people straight after they commit a crime but clearly she had different ideas
Yup, straight. More like straight to the jail cell. She's a rat both biologically and her job. She sneaks in like a rat into a crime gang and gives info about criminals to the pubsec or setting up ambush for the criminals (she also gets caught while doing ambush but clearly that's no problem) and lastly Jane doe probably also does clean up for surviving members

1. Jane doesnt fully trust the department, or the department's security (thats why she insisted on turning off all the surveillance and bodycam)
2. Jane is willing to show herself because the driver is an eager greenhorn who still got her ideals and isnt deep in anyone's pockets
3. If the driver officer would tell anyone what she saw no one would believe her hearsay because shes new
4. Jane uses an old, analog-ish phone to minimize tracking. Modern phones are chock-full of trackers and mainstream OS's are prone to hacking. Also she just might throw it away after every mission.
Online belle have been seeb using a smartphone, everyone else in this ubiverse use old phone.

I have seen many trailers of characters with a seductive attitude but Jane, is really something.
They're like the embodiment of the meme where the tall girl holds the short girl up to the wall.
Jane is such a cool character. I usually don't like flirty female characters because they feel catery but I really like how they handled Jane, she's seductive yes but she's also very smart and professional, overall a very well rounded character.
Also, I really like the song choice they made for this trailer !

Holy Sh*t. HoYoVerse be dropping the most incredible vibes I’ve felt since a LONG Time. Especially the vibes forward from 1:21 are the absolute best. 3:39 The ending gave me literal chills, it was so intense, accompanied by incredible rock music, I couldn‘t be happier. It just fits her theme absolutely perfectly and the way she dresses and behaves makes her relations with Seth the merrier as they are in a Enemies To Lovers relation. I just adore Jane SO much, the badass protagonist with incredibly many fans and a great taste for music is here.
