Super Long LEGO Train Track Setup! With Modified Cargo and Passenger Trains

- This is the longest train track I've set up so far! This build features the LEGO Blue Cargo Train (60052) and the LEGO High-Speed Passenger (60051). It includes a GoPro Ride-Along.
There will be more footage to follow with the Heavy-Haul train. All three trains now have two motors powering them to allow them to pull more.

The lights are part number 8870 and the rechargeable battery is part number 8878, these can be bought from the LEGO shop on-line. The power adapter\battery charger is the LEGO Power Functions Transformer\Charger 10V DC Part 8887, make sure you are buying the correct transformer for your region.

I used to cover a whole living room floor not only with trains and tracks but also with buildings, streets, landscapes, and bridges years ago but in the 1980's with my battery trains.

+Rudy Campos The Blue, Red Heavy-Haul and High Speed Passenger Trains are all running with two motors. The only limit on what they can pull now is the strength of the magnets connecting the cars together.

So the rechargeable battery box allows for longer hauls? I have to double up my units on a single train to even pull more than 5 on battery alone! Ever try a dual motor setup on a single unit? I tried it out with the Maersk set (figured the interior would allow for all the wire) and it takes a good bit of coordination to get the power functions running in tune.
The Blue Cargo train and the passenger train have two motors in them. I recently changed the way the motors are connected and you can see that in these videos, modifying the second motor helps with the co-ordination issue which I also found to be tricky:
