I use Library of Whispers videos to help me get to sleep. Since my wife passed away I've found sleep quite difficult. Would love some more videos of 4-5 hours, as longer ones help me sleep better.
My brothers and I had this book and we used to absolutely devour it as a kid. I remember just staring at the pictures for hours at a time. This was lovely!
Just wanted to say thank you. I woke up with my esophagus inflamed and nearly closed, asthma attack, and immediately the panic attack set in severely. Took my meds, did breath work that I do to combat panic, and started up your ASMR video. Woke up at the 2 hour, 33 minute mark. It really helped calm me down and I passed out at my computer desk. Thank you. So much.
Once again, thank you for an additional 2 hour nap I needed today, granted by the peaceful nature of this video. If only I had been in a prone position instead of at my desk. Lol. :)@@LibraryofWhispersASMR

Oh my goodness, I just got to the video on ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, etc. I love this view into the past at how people dressed in different cultures. These compilations are absolutely perfect when I can't sleep and need something to relax to. They usually work to help put me to sleep when dealing with insomnia due to your very relaxing voice. I had the same pirate book when I was a kid. Its still at my parents house and I read it a few weeks ago with my nephew since he has a pirate phase right now
I don’t know how much time you’re having a day, Kate. But if you would like to be the Harry Potter books. You can definitely read them on Audible which is a great way to relax if you’re sleeping. Or a great way to read them if you’re awake. Audible is awesome. I have been listening for one year. And it is fantastic. I love it. That is just a suggestion that I have.

Speaking of Pirate knowledge, there was once a ship called the duke of kent, it had 75 canons per side because it was one of the only shipa to have 4 rows of canons while most 1st rate ships including the HMS Victory, USS Pennsylvania, HMS Cambridge, Nuestra Sénora de la santísma trinidad, and too many others that were scarily large, had 3 decks only. These were called ship of the lines, sailmen joked about how the ship almost had more cannons than crew.

One famous real pirate was born in my hometown Greenock Scotland his name was Captain Kidd, born 1645, although there is quite a dispute as to where he was born, some historians say Dundee but I can assure you he was born in Greenock I was the year below him in school I knew him well 😉
