Personally, there’s really no purpose for me other than I’m having fun making the models and helping with animation. I agree there's a lot of P.T. clones in Dreams, some really good ones and some bad ones.. the good ones capture P.T. aesthetically and are very well done but in terms of actual gameplay, most clones have very basic logic and is missing a lot of the subtle direction that made Kojima’s original version so scary. And this is what most people play, the ones that miss the direction Kojima was doing, which we’re aiming to capture. I wasn't really interested in doing anything P.T. related just cause there were a lot of clones… but after playing Jones’s version, I saw tons of potential in making a triple A quality game in Dreams that was faithful to Kojima’s vision. Jones’s version isn’t just a fan make or clone…and the early version I played I could see that it was a legit attempt at being exactly like the original that we all remember playing. The same creepy lighting and atmosphere, the sounds, the way the hallways unfold was the most faithful I’ve seen (But there were things that I saw that could be improved such as Lisa model and paintings that needed to be updated which I KNEW I could do and help out with so now I am a collaborator). I actually helped make Lisa in Jones’s Silent Hills four years ago. And knew it could be better with an updated model and at the moment we're working to make this recreation to be as accurate to the original as possible so that it's not just like another fan remake that's half complete. This is the entire full game, the original with all its subtle hidden details and cryptic nature, rebuilt in Dreams from scratch. With Jones’s and Lucifersainttt’s crazy dedication and INSANE attention to detail and my experience as an animator and sculptor bringing Kojima’s original all to life into Dreams for people to play. The main thing I hope this project can do is allow people who haven't experienced P.T. to experience it for the first time and also show that the tools in Dreams is absolutely capable of AAA-quality games and people should download Dreams now and try out the tools. Cause you CAN make games like P.T. plus also play thousand more games made by the community. Personally I’m having a lot of fun making the models and helping out doing the animations. But am going to go back and do more sculptures and shorts once I’ve helped make P.T. and the full game is released.
