That line at 18:35 "God needed her in heaven to be an angel" is legit making me cry, because that's exactly what you should say to a child who's lost someone they love. You don't have to believe in God to feel better about the situation when you think of it like that
But it didn't help. They got a psychologist in to tell the kid the truth because white lies like that don't work on children. They'd go "well I don't care, I want my mom".
@@bobobsen True. That line only works some of the time. It can actually make it worse for some people. I've known people who heard that when they were a kid and answered with, "Well, God's a jerk."
i say this phrase to little kids that ask me why their pet wasnt coming home or someone else in their life they love. it makes my cry every time, one of them looked up, closed his eyes, smiled, and said "i can hear her. shes crying. shes saying shes sorry" and that fucking broke me.
