The bands in the 80's all put on kick ass shows. People can say what they want about hair metal bands but they put on the best concerts. KISS has got to get the credit for raising the bar on showmanship for concerts regardless of what people think of their music & they were doing it in the 70's & 47 years later they are still at it. Bands don't put on shows like they used to.
You gotta watch the movie “The Dirt” it’s about Motley Crue and everything they went through from the beginning when they formed their band and everywhere in between! It’s a great movie and I watched it twice!
I was at this concert 9th row dead center spinning my Crue t-shirt around which you can see at several moments throughout the video. It was shot at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana. The played the song twice to get enough awesome footage and it was live !!!
Loved Crue!! Concerts back in the day were like a three ring circus 🎪 they were incredible! If you have a long boring road trip - put on Crue and it will get you down the road!!! ♥️😎
I went to see Motley Crue in New Haven Ct. After the opening act finished up, Tommy Lee floated out on that floating drum set. He was supposed to lower himself down from a scaffolding but didnt hold on and just fell.I thought it was part of the show but after that.,the lights came on and It was said that the concert was over. Tommy went to the hospital but he was fine. This was in 1990 and Im pretty sure it was Dr Feelgood tour..
Motley Crue was my all time fav 80s band. I've seen them 4 times. The last time was the last night of the Aladdin Hotel in Vegas. The same hotel I met Vince Neil at in '86.
They are called The most Notorious band in rock ‘n’ roll. You should check out: Girls, Girls, Girls 🔥 Live Wire 🔥 Dr Feelgood 🔥 Shout At The Devil 🔥 Primal Scream 🔥 Home Sweet Home 🔥 Without You 🔥 So so many to list. Thanks for reacting to Mötley Cruë, Jay my favorite Rock Band 🎸And you have a chance to see them Live this summer. Their doing a stadium tour w/ Def Leppard, Poison, and Pat Benatar.
Saw Crue open up for Aerosmith years ago. When Aerosmith came on, all of Crue sat in the audience and watched them. Fantastic concert! Aerosmith opened with Steven Tyler saying “You want to hear the old shit or the new shit.” The audience went crazy!
They had the best concerts ever. My friend won tickets and we were close to the stage. Tommy was upside down on his drum kit right above our heads. I kept thinking he was going to drip sweat all over us or fall. It was just wild and so fun💕💕
I've been to a lot of Crue concerts and this was one of them. This video was shot at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis in 1987. They played it a couple of times in order to get the footage that matched the video and audio segments. This was the last concert I saw prior to going to boot camp. The 1980's were a hell of a great time for concerts!
Been to two Mötley Crue concerts one of them being this tour with Tommy in the cage.... awesome in concert. If you’re a Crue fan you should read The Dirt about their time together as a band. Unbelievable story.
My younger brother asked if I would take him ,and I said sure! I was in awe that Tommy was over us, and I couldn’t hear for days lol! I still say this was the best concert ever, and I’m a huge Madonna fan, with 6 of her concerts under my belt! So worth the ringing in my ears!
I seen this tour live when I was 16. Nikki six x rode his harley in stage, killed a 5th of jack daniels in two drinks, and Tommy lee drum solo was AMAZING. This was my first concert ever, it was in 1988
They were for sure living on the wild side! The bass player Nikki Sixx was in the middle of an epic heroin addiction. The clothes he was wearing in that video he had probably been wearing them for at least a month and had not bathed in that same time frame. A few months after this concert, in Indianapolis, Nikki would O.D. on heroin and the paramedics would pull the sheet over his head. One of the paramedics wasnt ready to give up and hit him with two cardiac needles of adrenaline straight into his heart. He was revived and eventually cleaned up his life and is drug and alcohol free for probably about 20 years now. This also led to a song with even more energy than this called Kickstart my Heart
Vince Neil is the lead singer here and he just posted earlier that his father passed today! Everyone send out some condolences to him on his social media! RIP to Vince’s father, so sorry for Vince & his family😢I so love ❤️ this song 🎶
They were amazing. Saw them in Toronto that year with the drum spin. Loudest & most energy I’ve ever seen And I’ve seen the who, Rolling Stones, bon jovi, U2, Metallica, heart, Van Halen w/D L ROTH, skid row, Guns & Roses Plus many more like HEART & others
Motley Crue are one of my favourite bands. They've been through so much and are still going strong. I would have loved to have been alive in the 80s! Wild side is one of my favourites. No matter what mood I'm in they always make me feel full of confidence and energy, you should check out home sweet home, without you, kickstart my heart and girls girls girls if you haven't already.
They are doing a stadium your this summer. It was cancelled in 2020 due to the covid. So still get my ticket from last year. Can't wait see them preform again. I'm sure they list a step since it's been 30 plus years since this video was done. But the talent is still there.
Yeah, it's Motley Crue time! You like this song like we do, you might enjoy listing to some more Motley Crue: "Same Ol' Stiuation, "Dr. Feelgood", "Home Sweet Home", "Live Wire", Their cover of "Smokin in The Boys Room" was awesome!! Peace! 👌☮
I was at this show in 1987 in Indianapolis,In at Market Square Arena, when they made this video, i was 16yrs. they sang it 3 times to get enough footage. Check the biopic The Dirt on netflix, it is their story.
Oh forgot to mention free pass from roadie for the who & also free up front at skid row, & while I was on strangers shoulders guitarist was asking me to come on stage
🤟🤟🤟🥰I love ❤️ your reaction to Motley Crue! I love ❤️ this song 🎶 I recommend Primal Scream next, Dr Feel Good, Same Old Situation, Live Wire and you can’t listen to Motley Crue without doing Home Sweet Home, I look forward to those reactions I think you already did Kick Start My Heart ♥️
I was 17 at the concert where Tommy Lee fell from his drum set. He landed like 20 feet in front of me. Sucked cuz they were only like 7 songs in and they stopped the show.
Hey, I found this song the other day, Piet Arion- SOS, I was totally shocked at his voice and range, I think it's not his original song though, I'm not familiar with him before so don't know if he's had lots of songs released or not.
Can I make a suggestion Jay.. You need to revisit some more LP I can’t pick a song because it would be like asking a Mom to pick her favorite child.. maybe do the Good With You Cling To Me it’s an older clip so you could go forwards also another band I think you would fall in love with is Manchester Orchestra.. The Silence.. so hauntingly beautiful.. and funny enough I enjoyed many of the Crues shows.. I miss shows so bad.. one day soon..I remember seeing them in a very small venue the first time in NY fake ID and all my ears rang off the hook for days lol..
They were saying Crue Crue Crue, I have been to 3 of their concerts, absolutely love them.

Ya they rock. I got to hang out with Nikki and Tommy on their tourbus it was awesome.

Tommy Lee..one of the best drummers ever. Self-taught he banged on boxes when he was a kid. PHENOMENAL!!
Their concerts are so fun and crazy and yes the audience is shouting Crue 🤘🤘🤘
I’m going to see motley crue, Def Leppard, poison, and Joan Jett and the black hearts this summer. Seeing this gets me pumped and ready!

Wow I've heard about that concert. Tommy said he didn't realize what had happened when he woke up and wanted to continue the show!
My favorite Crue song. Kinda sums them up. They were the wild side.
Agree to 100%.
Oh hello Dark Helmet. 😅
Say, what you will my fav is the drummer Tommy Lee he's a beast & designed custom drum kits for each tour. It not only rose up but turned upside down!
Motley Crue was my all time fav 80s band. I've seen them 4 times. The last time was the last night of the Aladdin Hotel in Vegas. The same hotel I met Vince Neil at in '86.

I was 17 at the concert where Tommy Lee fell from his drum set. He landed like 20 feet in front of me. Sucked cuz they were only like 7 songs in and they stopped the show.
