My mistake was that I kept trying to find an easy way out of the test, when it’s designed to have very subtle changes to each question. When you know the basics and actually read everything and think about the question for longer, then you pass
I have a research degree going back for my Doctorate and yes, this test is far and above the most ridiculous thing I've ever tried passing lol its genuinely a frustrating test of your knowledge.

Passed on my second try (in five minutes let’s gooo). Here’s what I did. Literally fuck the context of what your looking at. Just look at the student example. It always has to have the reference, it has to have a reference to date it was published, the authors name (page number not necessary). Even if it has quotes but is missing shit, it’s still playgerism All you have to do (reading wise) is read the bold and skim the student part. If the student part is word for word it’s always gotta have quotes (otherwise it’s word for word plagiarism), author’s name and date published next to the quotes. As well as the bottom reference If it’s a paraphrase it’s basically what happened in the student’s own words, but if it’s missing the reference (thing at the bottom), the authors name and the date it was published up top next to the paraphrase then it’s paraphrase plagiarism.
So for recap regardless of form of plagiarism it always has to have: - a reference at the bottom. - The authors name and the date published/written next to the part being referenced (so the in-text part, not just in bottom reference. - If the references to the original text (the part in bold)is word for word, then it has to have quotes.
This literally helped me pass it on the first try after watching this video, from previous failed attempts before watching the video! 100% RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS VIDEO FIRST!

There is still plagiarism in the 13:30 minute. There are two sentences in the quote from Van Merrienboer. reference is made only to the last sentence. It is believed that the sentence before the last sentence did not belong to him, but to the person who did not refer. This is plagiarism.

Just as sure as you said it in your video, it was hard! I took it about 8 times. After the about the 6th try I watched this video and on the 2nd try after watching I passed! Huge relief! So I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to post and explain this out. I found the much more engaging than the Indiana tutorials!
AAron I would say fully read the passages through. Avoid skimming, which is what I originally did. Also, even if it’s not copied word for word or paraphrased per se, but they borrowed an idea or concept to describe something else, that’s still considered plagiarism and has to be cited. And also the citation has to be contained at the end of the referencing sentence. They tried to trick you a few times by placing it at the end of the following sentence. I hope this helps!
