    Dlo and Fultz will be a fire backcourt in the future!!

    People sleeping on Fultz. We haven't seen the best of him yet. With a proper offensive set and floor spacing he'll be able to do a lot more things. Good luck doubling him when you got Russ on the wing.

    Great scouting report. Always love your work! It would be crazy to see you do one of these for a current NBA star, like Kyrie or KD, take footage of them from college, and then show examples of how they've improved aspects of their game from college to today.
    Waiting for the Lakers to get you on retainer!

    Hey I know this is lakers page but in the future I think u should become just a scouting channel in general. I think TH-cam needs a good scouting report channel and whenever I watch your videos I'm impressed. I think it would be cool if you did something like a mock draft and said exactly why the player would fit with the team and be a good pick. Keep working, I hope your channel keeps growing

    After watching this I don't think Fultz and Dlo would fit well together. I think one would have to be traded if the C's somehow passed on Fultz. And even with the C's, how many minutes will he get? Should be interesting come draft night.

      Angelo D yea true that. If the lakers draft him I don't think it can work with Russell. I think that lakers would trade D'Lo in that situation but if they get Lonzo him and D'Lo would be a perfect backcourt

    i think lonzo balls playmaking ability will fit better with the lakers so dlo can move to sg for more catch and shoot, cut opportunities

  • @rayrude5705
    @rayrude5705 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    I'd rather have Lonzo Ball. I think we need more of a pass first type of point guard. Also my views have changed on D'lo. After his last game I can totally see him being a Shooting guard. so I can see the two of them playing together. lonzo can run it up the court and kick out to D'lo for the 3. I think lonzo has the special ability of making those around him better on offense.

    • @shehzebimam4991
      @shehzebimam4991 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lonzo is projecting to be more of an elite secondary playmaker right now, not lead guard.

      funny how many people think dlo needs to be a sg, he was a sg in high school and the #18-25 ranked high school recruit, goes to college switched to pg and drafted #2 overall. He shot up draft boards because he switched to pg

    • @rayrude5705
      @rayrude5705 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Matt 24 well that hasn't happened in the NBA so far so might as well give it a shot right.

      he's the best pg in the last 4 drafts. him and mudiay are the only starting point guards in the west under 25 years old.

    • @Matt-cj5us
      @Matt-cj5us 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ray Rude
      you are kinda right though, dlo and fultz together would be 2 combo guards, with dlo defensively gaurding the less athletic shooting guard, fultz being more athletic guards the faster point guard, but they could share the floor on offense as combo guards, dlo more of a spot up shooter and passer, fultz a slasher and pick n roll player. I think dlo and fultz, would work better than dlo and ball.. fultz usg% is very high though, so it's hard to tell. the debate will be heavy after draft lottery

    Lonzo's gonna find it difficult in the nba with that goofy ass jumper, D'angelo was better in college, Why do la fans wanna dump him right when he's starting to blossom. We need a solid defensive player...

    • @martyvoyzey

      Finessin It. lonzo is good at D. and he can play with Russell.

      MartyLA We don't need another point we need a solid defensive player. A Josh Jackson caliber defender

    • @martyvoyzey
      @martyvoyzey 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Finessin It. we do, our guards are terrible besides dlo and he can easily play with ball. you don't draft on need in the top 2

    • @drip6337
      @drip6337 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      d'lo would be better at the 2 spot on offense and lonzo ball can guard the 2 spot on defense.

    • @finessinit.2110
      @finessinit.2110 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We've already got the offensive pieces needed, us fans and the laker organisation are just waiting for a breakthrough from the young core (happening now)

  • @jerellhurtado9486
    @jerellhurtado9486 7 ปีที่แล้ว +23

    Josh Jackson should be the lakers only pick. Best player and fits like a glove.
    I've been hearing grumblings of some people liking tatum over Jackson, what an utter joke. Ball is the only other player that should be in consideration, but in a 2 guard role, dlo is the lead guard.

    • @drip6337
      @drip6337 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      all i see in jackson is, being a good defender and a role player on offense. In my honest opinion.

    • @martyvoyzey
      @martyvoyzey 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      jerell hurtado i like jackson as a player but i really hate pairing him with ingram on offense. good defensive potential tho. and lonzo and dlo would split duties doesn't really matter who's the "lead guard"

    • @koolguy17
      @koolguy17 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      jerell hurtado Jackson can't shoot, 20 year old freshman and has an attitude problem as well as off court issues already.
      Tatum is much more polished and complete on offense while being younger, taller and also has good defensive potential. There isn't much Tatum can't do that Jackson can while you can't say the same the other way around.
      Right now it's Fultz - Tatum - Ball for me. Jackson would just make the Lakers offense have even less offensive spacing.

  • @PeekaPeep
    @PeekaPeep 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Meh, he's just a slightly lesser right-handed version of D'Angelo. If the Lakers draft him, guarantee he gets dealt in a package for a big-name player still in his prime with a year left on his contract. If they keep him, probably means D'Angelo's out of the picture (which I honestly don't see happening despite all the haters out there who just can't accept the fact that Russell is only going to get better at this point, especially if Nick Young opts out to go ring-chasing this offseason). Should the Lakers keep their Top 3, either Josh Jackson ( MY 1st choice) or Ball (2nd) will do for their current team. If God is still a Laker fan, one of those two players is gonna be wearing the gold-and-purple for years to come...
    ;-)

  • @faenihbs
    @faenihbs 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why are all these shooting guards made to play the point?! If D-Wade came into the league today he would be forced to play the point because he is slightly undersized. Then he would have never been the player he is today. Just like D-Lo! I don't get this terrible tendency.

    • @anonymouslakernerd7214
      @anonymouslakernerd7214 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bryan Simental. Good point. With D'Lo, I can see the impulse to want to put him at the 1. His court vision and passing skills coming out of college were amazing; plus, at the PG position, his height is more of an asset, his lack of athleticism is less of a liability. But other than that, I think you're spot on.

    I am not too impressed with him. A ball dominant guard who loves to shoot and take wild shot? Not a good fit beside D'Angelo

    • @shehzebimam4991
      @shehzebimam4991 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Russell's ability to play off ball makes this a natural fit. However, DLo's vision is better and he'll have a season of running Luke's system under his belt so expect to see Fultz play SG which he'll be fine in especially playing off Russell who makes the right plays. Besides Markelle's iso scoring ability is going to make us more dangerous as it'll add another player besides D'Angelo who can knock down tough shots with defenders in his face with shot clock winding down.

    • @TobiA0000
      @TobiA0000 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shehzeb Imam great point. But I am not to sold on him yet. Taking away some of the pressure from Russell by adding another playmaker in Ball would be better. Russell in my opinion is better fitted from the 2 guard position. He can play more freely this way

    • @shehzebimam4991
      @shehzebimam4991 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you can get that with Fultz too ... Him and Russell can rotate which makes it akin to Dame-CJ dynamic.

    Fultz= good talent but not a franchise changing player!! Having watched Washington this year, they reminded me exactly of the team harden had at asu in 07-08, fultz couldn't make his team contender in the pad 12 and failed to show leadership at critical stretches in games this year (at home vs wsu and Nevada to name a few) I think the most realistic comp is Eric Gordon 2.0, fultz is a top 10 talent but wouldn't take him above 4th this year

    • @anonymouslakernerd7214
      @anonymouslakernerd7214 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Greg Clay. Tatum is smooth and has an arsenal of moves out of the triple threat. But his lack of elite length and his average to below-average athleticism doesn't bode well for his prospects at the next level. He's like Kobe on Xanax.

    • @gregclay217
      @gregclay217 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      anonymous lakernerd LOL I'll take that Kobe.. on Xanax is still better than 90% of the league LOL.. but as far as Tatum goes he has the same athletic ability as a Carmelo Anthony.. with time and Polish that kid is going to be a perennial All-Star lock.. and putting him next to Brandon Ingram and D'Angelo Russell is a scary Trio for the future.. that's a nasty big three in 3 seasons..
