Uppaluri Gopala Krishnamurti (9 July 1918 - 22 March 2007) was a philosopher who questioned the state of spiritual enlightenment. Having pursued a religious path in his youth and eventually rejecting it, U.G. claimed to have experienced a devastating biological transformation on his 49th birthday, an event he refers to as "the calamity". He emphasized that this transformation back to "the natural state" is a rare, acausal, biological occurrence with no religious context. He rejected the very basis of thought and in doing so negated all systems of thought and knowledge. Hence he explained his assertions were experiential and not speculative - "Tell them that there is nothing to understand.".

Jiddu and UG both are great philosophers and Telugu people should be proud about these people - glad you have covered about this genius man. I mentioned about him in my first YT video as an advise to parents on raising kids.

😮met UG in 1983 in Bangalore in a small house and continued stay in ug seeong ug morning and evening for next 10 days.
After a gap of couple of years ug came to madras whom i rexeoved in airport. UG showed me the house near theosophical society.
From that day i began seeing ug everu year in bangalore, madras, Hyderabad and in yercaus. A facinaying jeorney with ug untill he died in 2007.
I would like to you personally incase. your re staying in Hyderabad . I did not have opportunity meet UG like personalities but at least I can feel perception of meeting the people who interacted the people like UG
