We're going to be taking a look at the three most popular Titans of the music streaming service industry Spotify TH-cam and apple music right crazy enough we live in a time where almost everything is subscription based now and it gets harder and harder every day when these money hungry corporations leave us no choice but to choose which music service industry we should be going to anyways there's a lot to talk about amongst all three services I'm going to break it down for you easily this includes all my experience and opinion on the UI the algorithm features the sound quality the website app and if you just want to hear my answer to which I like the best right now well my Spotify student plan recently expired cuz I'm no longer am a student I graduated my University just a few months ago they were giving me that sweet $4.99 deal a month but since that expired I've been jumping back to Apple music and TH-cam using their free trials and I have used Apple music before for a good year so I've been all over the place and if I were to renew again I'd probably go with Spotify and that's only because there's a few teeny tidy reasons that made me choose that over the other two which I'll tell you why I think at the time of this recording it's like $10.99 across all three if you have the individual plan I think the best strategy if you want to save a lot of money is to get the family plan which you can add up to six people and that's going to cost you around $16.99 and if you can get all six people on board the cost can get as low as like three bucks a month which is an absolute steal the problem is with that though is well you got to get a lot of people on board and you got to have one that's like the designated spender and at the end of the month I don't know maybe pay them and venmo them who knows so ask your friends family roommates anyone close by that you trust because we got to make our way somehow and these family plans are pretty good so I'm bringing out the red iPhone 11 out today all right isn't she beautiful all three streaming services are going to look a little bit similar with some slight design differences - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี

I have used Spotify and TH-cam music.. and i personally choose TH-cam Music... It has way more songs, and it never removes any songs unlike Spotify. Also you can watch Music videos whenever you want to in youtube music + it's connected to your TH-cam account. The one criticism i have from TH-cam music is they dont let you choose icon for your playlist.. the playlist look so ugly on TH-cam music. And if you want to save any artist you need to subscribe them which also subscribes them on TH-cam which sucks. On the other hand Spotify is great for playlist but it keeps removing songs. And it's shuffle is broken and doesn't recommend you any new music out of your taste.
Uuugh YTM has removed a lot of my songs tbh
ytm is overrated af. it doesn't have search within playlist in 2024 lol. youtube integration is annoying because it mixes both of video playlist and ytm playlist. ytm's pc browser performance is slow af.
conclusion: I don't recommend ytm
Ytm is for those who listen a lot a compilations or music remix like slowed and speed up and spotify has better plans,quality,features still i use both for different things for listening music spotify for listening slowed or speed up versions of songs pr compilations yt music
@@ken6231I like all genres of music. I’m not much into the speed-up music, but I feel that every song should be (slowed down) chopped and screwed.
@@ken6231 I had Spotify premium, for almost 2 years. The selling point was the ability to play offline. I like podcasts and enjoy music.
I can curate my own playlists, im just not sure of which subscription would be the best for me.
I can find every song that I can imagine on regular TH-cam. Lately, I haven’t been able to play most in the background….., but I just turn the brightness down for my screen and keep a charger while at work.

I've been an spotify user since 2015, but I switched to YT music because of the huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge library, it has all of my favorite anima and vidfeogames soundtracks, and also the top songs around the world. Also you can find covers and complete concerts it's crazy
TH-cam music is way better. Coming from Spotify/Apple Music, TH-cam has WAYYYYY more songs
I love Apple Music because of Dolby Atmos, it gives me a really great sound experience and I feel the sound quality is very up high

TH-cam music for me. Combined with videos without ads with premiym, it's the best value for money.
TH-cam Music has EVERY SONGS you like, especially the one YOU recorded.
The other streaming platform doesn't have the power of Google, period.
Don’t forget: with YT premium you can turn off screen without stopping the video!!!!!
Well, as someone with budget conscious, I use TH-cam music in my iPhone 15 Pro Max over spotify, apple music or amazon music etc because I’m subscribed to youtube’s family premium package so the youtube music just comes as a bonus to use. And c’mon…not only is every music available on Yt music but also every movies & remix that people posts on youtube is available to listened to and we can just switch between video/mp3.
For example sometimes, I listen to my favourites, my fav artists while on nights, I listen to meditative music and youtube has tons of options in terms of music, remixes, meditating & other videos.
I would say youtube music I would choose only because they usually have the obsure artist way more then the other platforms
I use all three in different ways I love how intuitive Spotify is with suggestions, but Spotify and Apple playlists are a little tight for my preference & Apple doesn’t suggest much beyond main stream hits. So I use YT for discovery, Spotify when I’m collaborating on playlists or just want music going and don’t want to have to worry about skipping stuff I don’t like. Then once I nail down my playlist I love to compile it in Apple. I also go straight to Apple when I know exactly what I want to listen to.
I’ve used all three and TH-cam Music is my favorite.

Apple music has been pissing me off. A bunch of my songs are hit with "The song is currently unavailable in your region" (Paraphrasing).
The worst part is that when I have my music on shuffle in the car and one of these unavailable songs pop up, the music just stops. I have to open the app and acknowledge that they won't play my song, before it can shuffle to the next song -_-
That exact thing happened to me and I remember that I went to the AM subreddit (to ask for help) and let’s just say that Apple fans only want to hear how “great” their products are
I subscriber to Play music before it became YT music/YT premium. Still grandfathered into the $7.99 price. Will never switch because of the great value I'm currently getting.

About youtube music - I guess is possible to turn the video reproduction off right? - I mean, it is great to have the video option, but I generally put music to just listen to it whilst I am either reading, walking, running and I am not interested in using data reproducing video just because...
Absolutely impossible choice:
Spotify has the best recommendations and works perfect everywhere.
Apple Music has the best sound quality.
TH-cam has the largest library and the best price if you are interested in TH-cam Premium.
I'm a TH-cam Premium subscriber and just canceled my Spotify account. It just doesn't make any sense to keep both if I have TH-cam music for free.
Thats what i exactly i did. TH-cam premium is very simple. Play your music and you can open up the lyrics insync also the ads. No ads for youtube and youtube music
If you didn’t know, bro you can switch how your songs and playlist are sorted so it doesn’t have to be your recently added that goes for Spotify. I don’t know about Apple Music and TH-cam music.
I don’t use Spotify anymore bc every 700 something streams is equal to a dollar for the artist
5 years ago I would've said spotify, but now Apple music has more to offer as a dedicated music app. You got music videos, the lyrics intigration is much better then spotify, karaoke now a really dope feature, and all the features they've added on top of that like collaberated playlists, shareplay ect.. And now the algorithm has been vastly improved like it literally can't be understated how much better it is, and the playlists created by actual people is nice. Spotify is lagging behind at this point and honestly I don't think they are going to improve they're music experience because 1 it aint profitable for them, and 2 they're subscribers seem to be happy with what they already offer lmaoo. I mean they promised hifi for like 2 years now, and they pushing audiobooks with the premium sub 😂😂
TH-cam is 2 services at the same time, so I'm trying to optimize my services
Spotify does not support spatial/atmos however. Something missing since there's alot speakers/phones that support atmos nowadays.
Im glad that my phone which is Samsung do have Dolby Atmos features on the phone
ytm still doesn't have search within playlist filter... how!? only reason to use ytm is it's in youtube premium. but i prefer Spotify free on pc. It only has few ads. but good.
TH-cam music free is better than Spotify free
My experience with spotify was that the algorithm went into loop, throwing the same songs to me over and over until I was fed up!

I'm not sure if that was the same for everybody, but I used Apple Music for a 6 month trial and the app itself ran much worse than Spotify. Occasional crashes, sometimes the buttons just weren't working, the search function didn't search. I used an iPhone, which made it even crazier to me. You'd think that first party apps are better optimized but that wasn't the case.
Hmmm, yeah that’s weird. That’s why I wanted to bring out the iPhone 11 as I thought it was an older device that would work well cross all three services. I know not everyone can afford or need the flagship phone 📱
Apple Music is slow and the search function sucks

Oh and the UI is clunky with those huge squares taking up screen space
It's also funny, because I've experienced many crashes on my ipad, but no issues on my android phone. How did apple make their app better on android then on on their own decices?
I used Apple Music and anghami (mena region app) , currently am using TH-cam music as I don’t want to pay twice like for TH-cam premium and anghami , as when I pay for TH-cam premium I get also TH-cam music
I am using Apple Music. I am deeply submerged in the Apple Ecosystem, so there is no question for me what to use. I got some decent recommendations, but since I never used Spotify, I can’t tell which one is better.
As an Apple Music user (and using Spotify on the side) the only real downside for me specifically is that Apple Music does not have seemless music transition between devices. If I am playing music on my Phone and want to switch to my PC, this would be seemless with Spotify and Apple Music simply doesn't have that. Additionally, the only reason why I truly only still use Spotify is for local files because I don't want to have my local files in my main library on Apple Music. The dealbreaker for me is simply that a lot of songs are not on Spotify due to the low royalties they pay out to their creators and Apple Music simply has better audio quality.
Do you hear a difference between audio on Spotify and AM via Bluetooth headphones ?

@@LukasBlaui have the earlier pro 2's with lightning connector, when lossless audio and spacial audio enabled in apple music the sound is mich more richer than spotify, of course you could make it sound similar using an equilizer but to be able to do everything in one app is great. Also I'm on an Android device (S23)
Apple music has better quality
I just got an s24 ultra and it had Apple Music redownloaded and it looked exactly the same as what you showed. I’ve never heard a quality difference between any service. I use TH-cam music because it has the TH-cam service fully featured and I can listen to the podcasts and music I’ve liked over the years

Honestly apple music is worth for students or family, but if you are travelling often/ living in different countries you cannot use family sharing and have to change region in appstore every time. In that case spotify is best.
For youtube users, premium is worth it; you get ads-free and YT music.
I'm not a fan of Google controlling the whole market...

I’ve had Apple Music for over a year now and it’s been my main only cause I get it for free through my cellphone carrier. I miss having Spotify. My music library was greatly expanded when I had Spotify. The recommendations there were way better than what Apple Music has “ recommended “.
TH-cam music is alright on android (with lyrics) but on desktop and if you would like to have lyrics like spotify it does not work
I believe Spotify is the best music app on the market today. I have no doubts about that.
But in terms of prices and advantages, TH-cam is a big advantage. When you subscribe to TH-cam Premium, you get ad-free TH-cam and TH-cam Music. We know that Spotify doesn't have videos other than music videos.
TH-cam's library is also superior.
I still choose Spotify because it is better for music and has more interesting features, such as the most listened to songs in a year and having the option to create playlists based on the statistics of our musical choices.

I think google should just add a video, music, & podcast tab to the regular app as in all in one app. tabs like the (music(video) buttons on the song being played on YT music

12:40, they have raised prices on youtube music now i believe, at $14.99 and youtube premium is $13.99 and you get youtube music for free.. it is weird

Good job on this video. You're making videos like you got a million subscribers. TH-cam Premium is actually really nice, but there is an odd catch that isn't brought up. If my kids are watching cocomelon on the TV and I have TH-cam Music going, TH-cam will stop my music stating that a device is already playing music. Cocomelon is viewed as a song, even when running on the youtube app on my chromecast. However, if youtube is playing a non-music video, I have no issues listening to music. Food for thought.
I use Apple Music and Spotify but in terms of Audio quality Apple Music is way ahead lossless audio and dolby atmos🎧
I actually thought that apple music would be better than youtube music. I just got a 2 month free sub from apple and I already had youtube music. I just like how youtube music sounds more. More bass. It weird because as a iPhone user I want to like apple music more. The design of apple music is better i guess.

TH-cam is pretty solid for sure!
I feel like this list is just "your gut feeling" rather than an actual review. You skipped over multiple features that are quite the deal breaker for me. For example, on Spotify you can listen to the Daily drive, where they'll make a new playlist every day for you mixing podcasts and songs you like and/or are aligned with your tastes for you to discover, which I've used as alarm clock for over a year now.
IDK about the other 2 services but it just looks like you didn't name any of the relevant stuff for them either.
