That fourth part for the trumpets (wich seemeed to have been played by a cornet or flugelhorn here) is darn tough. I played that one myself in my youth, and thought it was by misstake from the first part trumpetist who game that part to play. I was kinda new... but they said... play it. And the conductor asked me... what are you playing for part. The fourth part was almost as the clarinetpart.... a fast thing to play. But They never removed the part, and thanks to that, I jumped to first part.... Soloist and stuff... lol.
Performance is smashing! Wish the camera crew could tell the sound difference between a hon and a euphonium so the correct instrument would be in frame.
Probably the best band performance of this great song! Anyway just curious, are those headrests on the chairs? Or do they have any other function since not all chairs have it. Thanks for the help in advance! :)
You must be a brass person? You rarely so the woodwinds as in the flutes, who by the way have some of the exciting runs in this piece. Shame on you. hahahahaha
You rock single euphonium player!!! That's a very hard part!!

They are called "HearWig", and are instead of earplugs, so you can tilt back, and the sound are lowed. :-)

Ah that's cool! Thank you very much for the answer, it's my first time seeing/knowing about that :)
Good performance but I wished they would of played outside of the box more.
Excellent performance - too reverberant an acoustic.
Show the damn piccolo!!!! What is wrong with you?! They sound amazing though!
めずらしい.スエーデンの。海軍軍楽隊でしよぅか。小さめの編成ですが.レベルの高い演奏だと思います。
