If you want the tape stains off sometimes if you use nail polish remover and rub it on it might come of
acetone should remove any adhesive stuff in my limited experience or goo gone
For the tape stains you can use nitro, instead of tapeing the holes you should try silicone paste and you have to clean the gravel before filling the machine.
You could have went to Home Depot and got gravel there for $20 and used $80 to get a tripod.

You can clean off that duct tape glue without using solvents, which would etch the glass (do not use acetone, mineral spirits or gasoline or it will cloud the plexiglass). That glue will break down with oil. Either coconut oil or olive oil are safe and non-toxic (they are both edible) and will liquify that glue. Pour a liberal amount of oil on a paper towel (use Bounty, because cheaper ones may scratch the glass) and let it sit for an hour or two to loosen the glue. Once it is diluted, you should be able to clean the oil off with regular dish detergent. If the glue is really old, baked on and stubborn, you may have to scrub it with the oil. This is the only safe way to clean that glue off your machine and make it look new again. Good luck!
Wouldn't it have been a lot easier and neater looking if you used caulk instead of tape?
You're supposed to put the gravel into a strainer and wash it with water. It moves all the dust and small pieces, leaving just clean gravel.
Wow, pricey gravel. I'm going to use the stuff in my driveway for my machine.
to get the duck type off use rubbing alcohol to get it off
Or baby oil
Use a bit of cooking oil to get the tape residue off then wash it down with an anti bacterial wipe to get rid of the grease.

when your done using the jewelry pick up game just put a tarp over your gravel and put your plush right on top of the tarp, to get the old tape marks off buy googone cleaner and put on then use a razor blade to easy scrape off that old tape on your machine , next time you should put down a plastic tarp first then put in your grave , hope this helps

To remove tape stains use Rubbing Alchol
and a razor blade helps too
it wont scratch the glass and will get it all off
also provides a nice professional streamline look if applied properly :)

U can change how much ur claw closes on your setting in ur claw machine
Yes you can, most have set screws to adjust the claw close position.
For future reference man try using silicone to seal everything up. I know this video is old but silicon should help u with a more permanent solution to ur machine. Plus it will look nice and clean with silicon. Not tacky like using tape.

Nail polish remover will take the tape residue off the glass 😊
next time try gaffers tape, it won't leave a sticky residue and will hold up much longer than masking tape.

To collect the bits when u take the gravel put pantyhose over the vacuum and it will act as a net
I did that and put a cd case over the hose as a holder

you can keep the gravel for plush to mkae it look nice too. i have seen many machines with gravel and plush! it looks alot better.

u should have used couching silicone. would be easily removed if needed and very fast and efficient :) like the video just suggesting more efficient ways of sealing your claw machine :)

Wendex and a razor blade to get that tape off make sure to keep wet and go slow or you're end up scratching it

It would have been a lot cheaper to buy it at your local aquarium stores (the ones not own by big companies) They usually charge from 7-10$ for a bag that size

you can get the tape marks of with fingernail polish remover you sould try it.

the bags of gravel he got said petco. petco is generally more expensive in my experiences.

Did the thought of caulking or maybe even use a hot glue gun and fill the cracks with that ever come to mind.
