Exactly it has my favourite types of glitches where they’re fairly easy and game breaking but you won’t stumble on them by accident without trying

I never actually completed the darker side of the moon I just frog glitched and never looked back
same here. i feel bad for doing it cuz looking back the darker side looked pretty easy. *apart from that section where your on the moving platform in the clouds that part sucks*

1:27 Also funny to mention is that this is the exact same weird rendering / graphic glitch that can occur in Roblox, and this only happens because you go out of the game's boundaries way too far.
With the gushen glitch, it is possible to escape. I used the motion controls to use the water to run out of water and fall back down. It essentially puts the game into the state where nothing is solid anymore.
This is the best oddessey glitch video I’ve ever seen I’ve seen like 20 and this one has still surprised me with glitches I’ve never seen

The corruption with the infinite falling is super interesting. Its caused by Mario's Z axis is so far in the negatives that the system is having trouble processing the massive number

With the gushen glitch, shaking the controller would make you slowly lose water. When you lost all water, you would fall back down. This makes the level in a state where everything is frozen and collision just doesn’t work.

Another minor glitch can be performed when spiking the volleyball then while airborne have Mario volley the returned spike. Cappy could turn invisible until you use his abilities again

The corruption of Mario's model is due to the limited precision of a floating-point number (they basically work like scientific notation). If you fall for a long time, eventually, you go so far that floating-point numbers don't have enough fractional digits to represent the vertices of Mario's model accurately.
The falling thing with the corruption is just a glitch in some game engines where if the player goes beyond what is normally possible all the models and their geometry start to freak out and go all over the place
You should showcase the glitch where you can get into the Odyssey early. It’s not patched and it’s probably the coolest glitch in the game!
Fun fact the pause screen corrupted mario glitch basically happens in every game your character will be all messed up
the Infinite Corruption glitch happens in every game when you just move far away enough from the center. Center = the geometrical center on which the coordinates of all entities are based on. This center should be somewhere on the playable map or at least very close to the map.
These glitches happen because graphical calculations use floating point numbers, which become less precise when they get bigger (positive as well as negative) and more precise when they get closer to 0.
While falling for ever, the game will keep on increasing (or decreasing while being negative - because you're falling) the Y-Coordinate. This will make all graphical calculations which use this coordinate to become increasingly faulty until they break down completely like you see here.

Another glitch with glydon:
Alright, so get glydon in sand kingdom. Go down to the quicksand. Go to the stairs which are not a slope. Go up the stairs. Go between the 2d pipe and the wall. Press and hold b twice. You should be angled on the weird 2d pipe. Hold towards the wall then jump. If you did it correctly, you should be able to clip through the wall. This allows you to get glydon in the quicksand room. If you want them to escape, just fiddle with the pipe.

rip wet nut, one of the most popular and well known Mario odyessey glitches.
The corruption that happened to Mario after falling for a really long time is a problem with the limitation of how computers calculate large and precise numbers (floats). Floats are great for representing decimals but the greater you make them the less precise the are able to be. So Mario’s position is saved as one of these variables and it isn’t able to be precise so Mario gets stretched along these imprecise points in space.

I did the frog skip and stopping time. I actually used the frog skip because I was SO stuck in the darker side, but now it’s patched, so thank god I did it before it was patched. I’m also kinda sad that the freezing time glitch is patched lol.
Ah, yes. The frog skip. If I didn't attempt that glitch before it was patched, I'd never have beaten the Darker Side. Upsetting to see it no longer work, though.

I know of a similar thing that happens in another game. If you fall out of bounds in a way where you're pucking up speed as you fall, the character model gets distorted. I'm not sure if you gain speed over time by ground pounding, but if you do it's probably the same thing (I have no idea what would cause it though)
