Lmfaoo what makes you say he’s gonna be good? He has the highest average time to throw of any QB in the last decade to come out in the draft… longer than even a guy like Justin Fields. His game is entirely based off playing off time and out of structure. Against too 25 teams all his numbers were cut literally in half (passing yards per game, QB rating, passing TDs per game, etc) He clearly isn’t mentally tough and doesn’t appear to be a leader. You can see this in his after game press conferences. He’s very fragile and then has the un awareness to claim to want to be part owner of an NFL team ☠️☠️😂. All you have to do is watch the games he played against Utah… each year they destroyed him and they aren’t even a top 5 college football power… imagine what NFL DCs will do to this kid. CHI should trade the #1 pick for three WC #1 picks in 24-26 AND Terry McLaurin. Then still draft MHJ at 2. MHJ + DJ + TM = best WR trio in the league, and complimentary skill sets. This is perfect for evaluating if Fields is worth anything. If Fields is still unimpressive with the best WR trio in the league, let him walk, and you have 2 #1s next year to use to draft your QB. Maybe Shedeur and have Deion come coach the bears. This would be a solid plan.
There have been 13 trades for the #1 overall pick since 1967. No team with a top 5 pick has ever given up multiple 1st round picks to move up to #1. The Bears will have to be willing to drop out of the top 5 if they want multiple 1st round picks.

Neither has better stats than Daniels who played against better competition. And Daniels has unmatched mobility while being more accurate and less interception prone. Maye will be like the guy from BYU/Jets. He freaking lost to Virginia, enough said.
JD was in the PAC 12 losing to lesser competition as well. JD couldn’t even throw for over 3k in the PAC 12. He Needed more talent couldn’t handle adversity and had to transfer.
