Ooh, those eyebrows are amazing and so expressive! Love to listen to Larry Sparks and Ave had the privilege of seeing g him in live performances many times. He's the best Bluegrass Music has to offer.
I'm just overwhelmed.....your the best .....I have been listening to you know for two hours and now I'm checking you out on You tube..can' t get enough of this wonderful music.....what we do without you and others like you
Im so upset that we don't hear this on the radio....what's the problem....don't they know good music when they hear it.....it's so sad that we don't hear this all the time on the radio
I was just thinking the same thing..how young..but at the same time........he always had a very mature look...i always thought that he was 20 years older than me........partly because of his status......and i find out that he is only 6 years older than me...I love Larry Sparks..he is at the top of the ladder for bluegrass singers.........may he live many more years...
@Doris Fitzgerald That's so sweet of you to say Dear🤠. Well thanks once again for the love and support you've shown towards my music career 😉 it really means a lot, I'm so overwhelmed🤠 may I know how long you’ve been a fan of my music 🎶
Larry has always been a top notch bluegrass performer. (always loved his guitar breaks) He did his best to fill some gigantic shoes when Carter passed on. The 1st time I heard "Think of What You've Done" was by Larry when Dave was in the band. Since then I've got the original Stanley version which I give a few notches higher rating, but you can't knock Larry & Dave's version!
I have b een listening to bluegrass all my adult life and that's a lot of years, no other music can beat it.......you should find some of Rhonda Vincent........wow.....she's also something else to listen to.....
Jimmy...Although I've been away from music for quite a while, I've spent most of my life wrapped up with bluegrass in one way or another (mostly by way of banjo). Music speaks with a voice of it's own.Your work comes across loud and clear, grabbing listeners attention, but very much as an integral part of the overall presentation. There's no mistaking that you project a very specific image in your music--keep the ball rolling.
I have always been told Larry is Carter Stanley's son. That was the reason Carter took Larry out on the road with the Stanley Brothers the year before he died. I believe it.. He has mannerisms like Carter.

Larry is Mr. Bluegrass Soul in spades. The dobro player is original and right on while his approach matches Larry's lead guitar exactly.
awesome... real music!
I Saw Larry Sparks at Graves Mountain Lodge Grass festival 2016

Such a nice voice, perfect for bluegrass.
Awesome!!!!
Genius.
Definitely not the underdog , this man is the best .
IMHO, the lonesomess voice in Bluegrass... with Larry Cordle, James King in hot pursuit!

A man that sing with total heart and sole, does anyone know who the Dobro player is ?
I think Jim Heffernan on dobro.
Lonesomess voices in Bluegrass? Ok, but you must include Dave Evans in the bunch!
blue ridge guitars is making the exact replica of his guitar right now
anybody know the year this was recorded?!? SOOOOOO GOOD!!
This is better than "sarsaparilla" on a HOT summer night...
Here I am at 3:45 again for the 10th time.
Need to correct myself: it's Jimmy Heffernan
@collingsmando GIT-ER-DONE!!!
Damned if he dont look like Carters son. Funny how his 6 string has the double sided pickguard too.
How'd you know that's what I was going for ??? Wow nobody ever got that.
Could it be Tom Boyd?
