Audience chose this song for her knowing that she has a deeper voice to test her. She rearranged the whole song and killed it. I think Amy Lee herself probably was thinking, "How come I didn't come up with something like that?"
out of all the people that was on this show, she was the only one that pull off the fucking notes without going off key so fuck all the people that dislike this version. even jill was wiggly while performing this song. ( no hate to her I hope she's doing fucking awesome)
I thought Toby complimented her very well and did a heck of a job in highlighting her voice. In a competition, that means you steal a little thunder, and I think Storm is smart enough to know that it helps Toby out, but she felt it was enough to help herself out, but it definitely upped his "points" for sure.

As a result, they had to bring people down from time to time because they "winner" couldn't be someone they didn't want for the band. That is 100% what happened after this performance.

I agree. It wasn't my fave but that is because Storm is an alto and Bring me to Life is a song for a soprano. Not her fault she had to sing the song didn't have a choice and she did her thing with it and that takes guts. That's a really high song to sing if you are an alto.

But because he was a session guitarist doesn’t change the fact that he was part of one a biggest act of the early 90’s. I’m not saying he’s a great guitarist but still, he got a gig thousands of guitarists didn’t get. So yeah, he did stuff more noteworthy than this cover by miss Large. By the way, that specific cover by Storm Large was not that good, she’s way better now that she was back then.
