Well, Waldorf School do introduce all four processes in first grade. Unlike most US public schools where they split the process up and stretch them out over a few years.
@@adamseden1330 South Asians/Asians kids are jam packed like sardines into cram schools after regular school is finished and weekends are also scheduled for cramming. It’s pathetic.
Waldorf schools or method is worldwide famous for its hands-on method.
Mostly to focus on small groups.
This is practical only in small groups and also limited to the basics of the basic.

These schools are meant only for rich and entitled children.. their IQ and level of intelligence is much lower than normal. They also don't fit into the mainstream, frequently having adjustment issues with their team members.

I wonder which fruit would she bring for terms like sin, cos, tan, integration, differentiation, etc.
Sab ameero ke chochle. If you search prominent/ famous people of Waldorf school, only actors and singers will be shown. Not one of them is in STEM field, or doing some breakthrough technology stuff. That means either the students are from rich and famous families or really want to be one of them.l for connections.
Well they design their corridors amd draw different angels on the floor. So children learn angels from the door opening.

With today's pressure teachers can't afford to teach fraction in 10 days. They probably get a day or 2 for entire fractions chapter. Then they have to quickly go to addition, subtraction...
same like how i teach my kids with little real world examples
I taught them fractions with fruits and paper pieces.
it really frustrates me teaching these things directly without any examples.
I wish this can be taught to teachers in India too so that education will be on different level in future which I feel is must

I taught my son fractions using chapati. He is 24 now n he still remembers n laughs about it. Yes he understood immediately

Oh pls we live in india... Do u really know the portions in CBSC ...? When will u finish cutting appple each day.. Tel practically... So finally teachers will not complete the full book portions for the annual exam...
Children also realise then that all fractions, no matter what denominator or numerator, are less than 1. Fractions are a part of 1.

Yeah try explaining that kid how that fraction works when it's improper, a trigonometric value and iside an integral!
This making things easy is sooo stupid, they'll end up doing calculus anyway!
